I would really love to audition but Im white and I feel uncomfortable playing character’s that aren’t ( I would rather have an actor who is actually that ethnicity get the part) so I was wondering if there is perhaps a background character that need’s a voice or is it better for me to wait for episode three?

Hi! I'd stick around until the casting call for episode 3, as i won't be needing anymore voice actors for episode 2. My team of voice actors is large and diverse, but the ethnicities of the voice actors don't always match the ethnicities of the characters. Because of that, I'd encourage to try out for a role before the casting call ends! However, I completely understand if that makes you uncomfortable or you don't want to do that 💙

I have one question regarding auditioning that I hope to clarify: You mention needing an AAABBBCCC format for auditions, I’ve auditioned for stuff in the past but never seen this, what does it mean? I’m assuming it means to do the same line three times, but I wanted to check if that’s okay!! Have a lovely day :)

Hello! Riptides writer here, So by AAABBBCCC format all we mean is that when reading lines to audition, you say the line three times, this gives us a few examples to work off of and lets us see your talent at a few different angles, and gives us more voice clip variety

I'd recommend maybe closing the page, refreshing it, etc. Or trying again in a few hours or days. I'm not too sure exactly how to fix this, but the problem seemed to go away with others after they gave it some time to load 🤔
