Just wanted to say, I've been watching your content for some time and was always on the fence about putting myself out there. Last year I finally took the steps to getting my headshots, I slapped together a voice over reel, wrote a reume based on your tips, and within a week of looking for an agent, I landed on an amazing agency in my city. In the last 4 months of being represented, I've managed to get plenty of auditions and even booked my first commercial (one live and two voice over). This year I'd like to put more effort into acting endeavours. Thanks love

I come from a very artistic family and they are very supportive of me and recently I've found myself solidifying the idea of becoming an actress and your youtube channel has really motivated me!! Acting is my DREAM!! It has been my dream since I was 12 (im 18 now) i would have tried to do it sooner but I never had the money or the time. Now that I work and I have a bit more freedom, i can finally try to make my dreams of becoming an actor come true. Ilysm Makayla, your videos are the best!!!

Omg I was very relieved when I read this comment. I relate to this so much knowing that I really could have also started earlier but since im also 18 now, it saddens me how i just wasted my time not taking any steps further… however I wish everyone here all the luck with their path towards their dream career! :)

i joined an agency and booked my first acting job back in october all because of your videos !!! i had been passionate about acting for a long time. i had been in plays but i wanted to move in front of a camera and didn't know how. i hadn't even taken any acting classes or anything when i booked that job, but your videos were so helpful !! It’s my absolute DREAM job to be an actress! I’ve been in 3 middle school musicals with 2 leads, but I want to do more. I want to audition for ACTUAL theaters, movies, TV shows, etc. I really hope I can. Thank you so much for being so helpful to me and others!

I’ve wanted to act for a while and never bothered to go through with it until now. I started acting classes and hopefully I can get somewhere far with this! I wish everyone the best of luck starting their journey just like me!

I've always loved watching my favorite actors in tv shows and movies. I have always known that acting is something I want to do, and your videos helped me get the confidence to just go for it. This year my goal is to stick with it no matter how hard it may get. Your videos have been helping me so much in may different ways. Thank you so much for making these kinds of videos!! I have a couple non-union auditions coming up soon, so wish me luck! Also if anyone has any advice for me that would be very much appreciated!

Have faith, keep persisting, remember to practice, remember that you can do anything if you set your mind to it. Consider going to college film school; also remember to stay faithful, keep praying, and never give up :))

I can only say if you mess up don’t be discouraged bc it’s normal to mess up just keep pushing through the audition and that’s gonna make you stand out because casting directors look for people who push through and finish no matter how many mistakes they make

Hey I’m into acting here! And the best advice I can give to someone just starting out is go for those extra opportunities, I have built a decent portfolio over these two past yrs doing extra work and I’m so grateful. I have had exposure to the film industry and being in front of cameras as well as meeting actors. Now I feel more prepared than ever to apply for and acting agency, I can’t wait!!!😍😍 for reference I’m in the UK and I have done work with, sky sports, Top boy and I recently did a prank show on Nella Roses tapped out.❤❤❤

If im being completely honest the thought of acting has always been so exciting and magical to me everytime i saw those kids on disney channel or other TV shows. Really hope i am like thsoe kids one day, this has always been my dream and want to work really hard towards it hence the ups and downs but overall your tips actually help a lot ☺️

i really hope you read this makayla!! i can’t even explain how much you have helped me!! you are literally my role model! you are actually the most underated actress ever! you are soooooo talented 🤩 every time i watch your vids, i learn something new and it’s so helpful!!! i am a christian and my absolute dream is to be an actress! i love playing parts and leaving life behind me! i also love to sing! recently my parents just haven’t understood my passion for acting and everytime i bring it up they just yell at me. i really want to start auditioning for things nearby me but my parents also just don’t have time😭 i look for hours every day at casting calls, practicing scripts, singing, researching, and best of all watching your vids 🤩 my mom keeps telling me how she doesn’t get how i want to be an actress if i don’t even show it, but she doesn’t see any of what i do when i’m alone bc she is always at work. she won’t let me look at casting calls anymore bc she thinks it’s not good for me. practicing in my room is fun and all but i love to entertain people and i want to find ways to do that. so i just rlly want my parents to think about some stuff that would be possible with them having jobs. i can’t talk to them about this without starting to cry and then they just get way more mad at me. my parents also compare me to my older siblings bc my sister wanted to do acting but she never wanted to do it enough to continue it and now she is older so my mom is convinced that i’m gonna grow out of it. we are very different but i think my mom is just taking her experiences from raising her and doing the same with me. i love my parents and they love me, but i just wish they were more understanding sometimes. my dreammmm is to be on tv and i am ready to face all the challenges that comes with. i would just love to audition bc it gives me confidence about myself and makes me feel like i have hope. it would literally give me sm confidence and make my whole year if i got a gig with 1 line or a background character. it’s rlly hard for bc i feel like it’s what i want to do so terribly bad and everyone keeps telling me it’s just a phase. i love doing the musicals at my school but i always get so nervous for auditions and last year i got sick so the people who run it don’t rlly know me and i always do so bad at auditions bc my nerves just get to me😭 do you have any tips for auditions? my school only does 1 show a year, and they have favorites so i don’t rlly get many opportunities. most people that do them take singing lessons and do a lot of acting outside of school and i just longggg to do that! my bff always gets every acting or singing opportunity at my school and sometimes it’s just so frustrating and i don’t want to be jealous of her but it’s too hard sometimes. i support her in everything she does but she never encourages me in anything. my other friend is signing with an acting agency and she doesn’t even want to do acting outside of school, but her mom wants her to and i literaly would die to be in her postitionnnn. 😭 i’m sorry i sound soo dramatic and bratty. i definitely need to lean on God more. there has just been sm friend drama recently and i’ve been feeling rlly left out so that’s another reason why i’m this emotional rn😭a lot of people have it sm worse than me😭😭 pls reply any advice you have for me 🫶🏼 i literally love watching your vids and they inspire me smm to keep going!!! you are sooo sweet and kindd 🥹 i wish i could know you irl!!!! ilysmmm makaylaaa💗💗 God bless ✝️
