I remember how this song calmed my soul when i went through depression this show will always remain as one of the most beautiful things i ever watched hope they include this song in the remake

i still hear this song in my head, when no thoughts are incoming, 12 years later. how can a song shape someone like that? "I promise I will become stronger next time..."

I just realized that rika and mion are the only ones among the squad that never tried to hurt their friends While everyone else were affected by the curse and did some horrible things

From the 'viewers' perspective, yes. However, Rika states in the manga everyone even herself have committed atrocities in the world. It's just the anime didn't show all of them as that would draw it out and make it pointless. :3

I tried watching this series when I was really young and it really scared me! Now that I am an adult and have revisited the franchise with the release of Gou/Sotsu, I can really appreciate the story. Rika has been through so much, but she keeps going no matter what... I won't put any spoilers or anything, but I really find strength through Rika's resolve to save her friends and her village.

Hi....just to tell you thay only higurashi 2006 and 2007 is canon... Read the visual novel of higurashi...its by far better ❤

I love how this song strongly evokes the night while the Cry version evokes sunset very well. Really cool I've always admired both for achieving this
