You Cry is so strong. specially when you figure out that rena wasn't laughing at all... she was crying while trying to help keiichi. she did a lot for him and regardless of that ending, she was still with her arms wide open. and as the song says, forgive Keiichi.

Can I just take the time to say how universal these sentiments and feelings that the lyrics depict are? They tug on the heartstrings of everyone who has to go through tribulation and emotional pain.

@@pane0_018 as far as higurashi goes, no, it's not very good. gou (the season that came before sotsu) was fine, but sotsu just kinda... eh... gou and sotsu are a sequel to the last chapter of higurashi, sort of. everyone thought it was a remake of the 2006 anime, but sike, it's a whole new story

@@pane0_018 sotsu (and gou) are sequel shows to the original higurashi. they have completely different themes from higurashi (original), more along the lines of umineko, one of ryukishi07's later works, and are divisive due to this. they can still be enjoyable if what you're looking for is not more higurashi, though.

This "almost" is very smart thing to put in description.

Who's here after watching Sotsu? I love the ending. I'm so happy. After watching this series from the very beginning Higurashi eversince I was in highschool, and now an adult, until now, makes me so happy and contented.

I enjoyed the ride of Goutsu overall, the ending was satisfying enough I just wish there hadn’t been so much recapping(and I wish Satoko and Shion could have had their reunion with Satoshi on screen).

@@goobermagoob9160 After watching all of Higurashi i think the older one had a better ending, but i did still enjoy gou and sotsu. I wish they included more to do with the flashbacks keichii saw after he killed rena in one of the worlds. Heard that Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Jun is gonna have a different ending to the one of sotsu

Loved the ending, they made the series so much better and helped erase those weird seasons from memory. Loved it in highschool because it was shocking and new; but the storytelling in this edition was top-shelf

everyone knows that music has no bountries,you dont need to speak X language to "feel" a pice of music!in my head this pice of music is one of the best examples of that!the first time i ve heared it i felt overwelmed and nostalgic,its more than cliche but i think "sweet sadness" is the perfect way to describe this song....

The Arigato version is so beautiful... so cheerful.

While I was surprised to see someone actually compile all the different versions of "Dear You", there were some you missed. I still enjoyed hearing all of the those you provided though; it has been such a LONG time since I listened to these! X3

Made me cry thinking about Shion who is waiting and searching for her love. She is always so strong, so hearing these words which are meant to convey her feelings, are just heartbreaking

Every song gave me goosebumps. Its soooo nostalgic listening to these-- higurashi is my childhood man. Hope was my all time favorite among the Yous, its so poignant.

@@bigdaddyfrogstat さん こちらこそありがとうございます😊 名曲ですよね！ 私が小学6年生の時から始まったアニメのようですね。 2006年から始まったと聞いたので私は6年生の時から始まったんだなと思い、こんなにたくさんの方々に愛されてるアニメなんだなと感じました。 ひぐらしのなく頃にのキャラの気持ちを表してる歌詞、キャラのイメージで作られたメロディー、アレンジがすごくいいですね！ 昨年はひぐらしのなく頃にのリメイク版が始まり、ひぐらしのなく頃に卒がりかちゃんが進学を機に都会に旅立つシーンが感動しましたね(T ^ T)

@@0314serika_h7 そうだね。海外でも昔は人気だったし、リメイク版のおかげで今も大人気。最初は、KZreadのグロシーンまとめ動画とかで有名になったと思う。 ついでに２０１５年にゲームの英訳版がSteamで発売されたから、僕を含めてまたたくさんの人がひぐらしのなく頃にを認識するようになった。 アニメ版は若い頃に見たけど（もちろん英語字幕付きで）、はっきり覚えてるのはこの曲だけ。

@@bigdaddyfrogstat さん 私が初めてひぐらしのなく頃にを見ている時に、雛見沢村の住民や仲間が亡くなって死んでしまったかと思ったら… 梨花ちゃんが何度も死んでも、蘇って、昭和58年の6月に戻る。雛見沢村のみんなの事件の真祖を理解をする為にみんながだんだん和解し仲間の為に絆を深める。 中には目を瞑りたいぐらい、かなりグロいシーンがありましたが😅 仲間の思いやりや大切さがたくさんあるアニメでしたね🤗💕 外国人にはかなり人気だったんですね。 Big Daddyさん、本当に日本語上手ですね。 リメイク版は物語が進んで、月日…年数が経つほど学年が上がってあっという間に大きくなって成長していく梨花ちゃん沙都子。本当に感動しますね。

I listen to this, and then compare this to S3 where instead of Keichi, who managed to keep himself from succumbing to his Hinamizawa Syndrome induced paranoia, was instead brutally stabbed by Rena instead... Speaking of S3... Any time he either made the right moves or some how recalled other Fragments, he got *ROYALLY* screwed over in the end. ...And the series still never really explained why he can can recall those memories as consistently as he does.

They did explain it’s the family things like Rika don’t really have a family but the club is a family for her and hanyu power is weaker than Eua but now that it’s the power of Eua the accumulation of memory is more regular I think

The game's main message is sin and atonement. Rena stabbing Keiichi was him atoning for his original sins in Onikakushi-hen; (murdering Rena and Mion) i.e. Rena trying (but failing) to kill him.

They kind of explained his reasoning for recalling the memories. When Satoko meets Featherine and asks her about people remembering past loops, Featherine explained that the closer people are to the looper, the more likely they are to remember. It also has to do with the gifter (hanyu or featherine in this case) power strength.

The "original" is wrong. None of the vocal versions is the original. The truly original one is the instrumental that plays in 01:16:39​

Can you tell me if at the end of higurashi gou on Hulu is the original ? It wasn’t in this entire compilation and the words are different. It’s in season 2 episode 15 the end after rika and satoko part ways at the train it starts
