Hell yeah. Love that DVD.

After a 1981 world tour and during the recording of the Blackout album, Meine lost his voice to the extent that he could not even speak properly. He was advised by his doctor to consider another profession. However, Scorpions stuck together and, after therapy and two vocal cord surgeries, Meine's voice recovered. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🦂🦂🦂🦂🦂🦂🦂🦂🦂🦂🦂🦂🦂🦂

Some of their best albums came after Blackout too! Imagine if they had broken up or gotten a new singer in 81... I'm so glad they didn't!

The Scorpions are one of the greatest bands of all time! They've never had a song I didn't like.

From my favorite Scorpions album - Lovedrive. I absolutely love this song.

This show was recorded on Convento do Beato in Lisbon, Portugal. I was 10yo at the time and I went to see it with my parents. It was awesome and I would love to see another acoustic Scorpions show!

I love Beth roars, I never realized how many things went into singing. She explains everything and is very enthusiastic about her descriptions, I love heavy music so when she comments on heavy metal singers, and recognizing their talents it makes me happy, also she is nice sweet and beautiful, thank you Beth, your fan forever Derek

This is my favorite Scorpions album. What I love about it is that the album tells a story about a touring. From the beginning with "Loving You Sunday Morning" the day before the tour. Then the next few songs about being on the road, and ending with "Lovedrive" the desire to get home. Finally getting home for a "Holiday" with their loved ones.

YESSSS!!!! Klaus Meine the best voice in the world!!! this concert was recorded in portugal in 2001, it is called acoustica. It went double platinum in Brazil and in other countries.

Hi! I am absolutely happy that you are doing this video! They are so amazing! One of my favorite bands ever! I love these guys and will be a fan forever!

These guys have been my friends since 2007, especially Matthias Jabs, and I am super biased towards them. They're my boys! lol Thank you for Reacting to them. FYI: They are dropping their 19th studio album this month, "Rock Believer", have already dropped 2 singles called "Rock Believer" and "Peacemaker" while preparing to go out on tour staring with a makeup residency in Vegas. This is one band who have never quit with their craft since Rudolf started the band in 1965. Even with Klaus and Rudolf both being 74 and Matthias being 67 this year, they live up to their song titled "Don't Stop At The Top". So after over 50 years of rock stardom, they keep giving us of themselves because unlike most bands, Scorpions truly value and love their fans and give us all the credit for their success. Again thank you.

Meine is a great rock vocalist, such a versatile voice.

Ken Templin also analysed Klaus Meine's voice here on KZread. He seems to believe that Klaus Meine uses vowels in this way because his native language is German. Well, you once pointed out that some singers lose their accent when they are singing. So here is my question for you: Is it possible that a singer loses his accent while singing but still uses vowels as in his native language/accent?

It is always a good choice to pick something from Acoustica to react. That gig was better than usual example of Klaus abilities. Always Somewhere is no exception, he nails it just so beautifully, like only Klaus Meine can !

Singer Klaus Meine didn't get that much credit as a singer in the mid and late seventies. Standing among 'gods' like Ian Gillan, Ozzy Ozbourne, Robert Plant, David Byron and other Robert Halfords and also being drowned (in the press) by first guitar gods Michael Schenker and then Ulli Roth. But nevertheless, Klaus Maine was and is one of the finest singers in Hard Rock for six decades. Six decades. You heard that right. Much appreciation for your channel(s) and your reactions. Love this. Klaus still has the pipes to belt it out, and the controling capability to not overwhelm an acoustic. May I make a recommendation? 'Black Water' by The Doobie Brothers There really isn't a bad version.

Scorpions is a top metal bands , and Klaus Meine is never being confused with another ... You know is him , his nasal voice is very charachteristic . Like , Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden , and Freddy from Queen ... I think this is Acoustica unplugged version . In keyboards is Christian Kolonovits , the mastermind of Expo 2000 Hannover , in String Bass , Ken Taylor , at the flying - v acoustic guitar , Rudolph Schenker , and in classic guitar at the left of Klaus Meine who is at center , is Matthias Jabbs ! Always with a bandana or hat at his head ! And at drums behind is the lion - haired James Kottak ! Is the Expo 2000 Hannover team !

Klaus was long past his best here, but you still enjoyed it. That's proof enough of his greatness.

Another gem by them from the Lovedrive album called 'Is There Anybody There'. It doesnt sound like a typical Scorps tune.

Need to tell you, this song is originally done on electric guitar, not acoustic. But it is interesting that Rudolf Schenker (Who along with his brother Michael popularized the use of the flying v electric guitar) is playing an acoustic form of a flying v, here. I have never seen anybody play an acoustic guitar that was shaped that way.

Klaus meine is just incredible, this is a very dificult song to sing. Powerfull voice!
