These are good, their best ballads are from the 70's IMO. "Yellow Raven", "Life's Like a River", "Born to Touch Your Feelings", "In Your Park", "Living and Dying", "We'll Burn the Sky".

I always liked these two ballads very much, even more than Still loving you and Holyday , they are so touching and emotional in music and lyrics 💜 I remember sometimes happened i moved myself listening these songs when i was far from home and for from a person i loved. Perfect ballads in Scorpions style and i agree what you say ,they deserve the Hall before they die ! Hold on and do what you feel , i know its 2 years you make accurated videos on KZread for the love of music connecting with us to share and enjoying music, you never did for money or posing and this is what we love , nevermind the Algorytm...no more. Its a pleasure and nice time to see you on camera and i guess it will always be , you always make quality video !

Rudolf Schenker is one of the best composers in the history of music: "Still Loving You", "Holiday", "When the Smoke is Going Down"; "Always Somewhere", "Lady Starlight", "He is a Woman- She is a man"; "Born to Touch your Feelings", "We'll burn the Sky", "They need a Million", "Fly People Fly", "Top of the Bill", "Coast to Coast", "The Zoo", "Hey You", "No One Like You", "Crossfire", "Lonely Night", "Send Me an Angel", "Edge of Time", "Cause I Love you", "When You Come From", "Are You The One", "Deep and Dark", "Through my Eyes", "Gypsy Life"...

Wow! That opening Riff sounds so much like "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd (which was released in early 70's). Shinedown put out an awesome cover of this song as well. The similarities are definitely there.

@@Ontariosound I found a video that compared the songs you mentioned. Very similar. As for the Scorpions comparison to Skynyrd that I mentioned, I was not implying copying of any sort, though. The similarities are undeniable either way! Really enjoying diving deeper into some Scorpions songs I had not listened to previously. I found this feed during the week of Iron Maiden reactions. I love the content I’ve seen so far!

Michael Schenker is one of my favorite guitarists of all time and Rudolf may not be a virtuoso like his brother but I sure notice Rudolf gets a lot of songwriting credits on some of the best Scorpions songs.

It’s in my blood. It’s in toured too. I don’t say that lightly.

Both of these ballads are beautiful and timeless. He's singing about the road and missing her so much. Absence makes the heart grow fonder but this was before internet/cell phones so people couldnt stay connected like technology these days.Which this( road/touring/ distance) is where Klaus and other musicians get inspiration to convey their feelings(emotions) about loneliness and longing for that person to be near to hold.Even with Skype it can be an isolation of sorts. Klaus is without question one of the great voices in rock and music period. These records were recorded so well. Like most things things today The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has some type of politics involved where the members vote. But Scorpions are premier hard rock band and definitely should be in before rap acts are inducted. Either way I can't express how much I love Scorpions as a band whether its a hard rocking song or a sentimental ballad they deliver. Agree with YOU the RRHOF should induct/ honor these guys because they have proven to be successful huge international band.Not much to add today because YOU said everything so well about them and their music. Another awesome post by YOU! "No complaining" but it seemed quite dark in studio maybe just didn't use lighting like normal. No matter YOU still shine like a diamond. I never knew that the SCORPIONS were NEVER inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame. That is a shame, they are one of the best rock groups that ever performed and still performing. I first saw them when I was 17 and now at 56 they are coming to my city, ILL BE THERE. It’s a cliche that you have to be in to be inducted in the Hall of Fame, SUCH A SHAME.
