My mom got tickets to Ed Sheeran a couple years ago. We just wanted to see any concert and it happened to be him. So as a guy I only thought of him as a cheesy love song guy, but holy sh*t. He his the most talented artist alive. His concert was one of the most amazing things I have ever been to. He is my guilty pleasure

I don't usually listen to this kind of music but Ed manage to make very catchy songs that always sounds fresh and are usually even better acoustic.

BRILLIANT. Possibly an anti-hymn.dark satire. #Sheeran anti-type cast as evil/death/satan figure (the "You" of the lyric?) 'bad influencing'/destroying all those around him..and everything he/she/they touches. Excellent sardonic satire here ..from the effeminacy/LGBT under the hair dryer & costume ..to the eastern mysticism multi-armed Shiva reference ..to the unsuccessful attempt to corrupt the little girl. .to the surrounding WorldWarZ/zombies effect being 'badly influenced' by him/them ..etc. A lot of interesting detail here about kinds of corruption/vice influence. ✌ And in another video #Sheeran's plain stark acoustic version is also GREAT.

He is absolutely amazing live. This song is fun and feels like it's straight out if the 80s in all the good ways. Also, he just released an official acoustic version and it totally flips the song on its head. It's great.

This isn't usually my sort of tune, to be honest. Still, a good song is a good song. The guy has a lot of talent, simple as that.

You should react to his acoustic version of the song, it's amazing.

I enjoyed watching Ed live in Seattle during his Divide Tour. His looping setup is legit!

I've been listening to this song for 4 days straight. I've always respected Ed as a musician but until now the only song I've really admired of him was I See Fire that he wrote for the Hobbit. But this is by far his greatest song. I love the way his singing is almost percussive. The way he uses an almost fluid staccato during the chorus really meshes with the drums. Although even the chorus near the end where they turn down the music still feels complete because he is maintaining the percussive beat with his voice.

I took my daughter to see Ed in Toronto in 2018, and it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. We were in the 19th row on the floor, so we had a great view of Mr. Sheeran, and the 55,000 fans behind us! He is literally a one-man show! He did two sold out shows at the Rogers Center, giving 110,000 people an experience they'll never forget!!

I saw him in 2017 when divide came out. I loved his music then and didn’t even realize at the time he didn’t play with a full background band but man… it didn’t matter. You never even notice it! He was so good. You definitely have to see him. By the way? James Blunt was who opened for him…. How could that night have gotten any better… loved them both!!

I enjoyed looking at this. I think we should be ourselves. Eds voice is great is sounds natural but works well with so many instrumentals. Spirituality is an instrumental, that moves with a great voice.

I have seen all three of his tours and am in tears every time. When I saw his + tour, it was in a half full college gym. He played his heart out there as much as he did when I saw him the last time in Atlanta. He is my favorite artist! 4:08min It was kind of a vocal chop/fill to fill the gap between the vocal & the beginning of the next 4 to 8 bars, to not "lose the listeners", common technique. Equalizing, some vox layering, different kind of chorus plugins and stuff. But it's interesting to see that it caught your attention, too. Producers call that "ear candy" which can be done in many ways such as subtle percussions, vocals, synths....

He sings so good. Meanwhile, I practise my bass line on that song. Deceptively low to do with the voice.

The music video they had him almost whisper the vocals and they enhanced the effects and volume to get it to project the sound they wanted like a big dance/night club kind of sound. The acoustic version is just as good, you can hear his natural voice do it and it also sounds just as amazing! You look amazing as always, keep up the great work!

I was fortunate enough to see Ed Sheeran in Brooklyn, NY for his x tour and he was AMAZING. Just a man with a guitar and a loop pedal and it was mind boggling how talented he is.
