not only is his talent unquestionable but seeing him in interviews and watching the Disney+ docu-series, he is sooo easy to root for. He deserves every bit of the success he has achieved.

Ed is such a wonderful example of a contemporary version of a James Taylor/Jackson Browne/Neil Young type singer/songwriter. Absolutely incredible talent.

those you mention are greats but I feel this man has topped them, much better singer and innovation.

So much talent. Not just writing a song but basically producing and planning a live version through loop pedals that, if one note goes wrong would all fall down. It blows my mind he can sing, play and think about what loops to bring in and when all at the same time. Brilliant

Ed Sheeran perfect was mine and my husband's wedding song he still plays it for me and holds my hand even 4 years later I cry every time lol

He is such a nice person too. Try his live in the studio creation of "The Wayfaring Stranger", it blew me away the quality of his layering of sound.

You could do countless reaction videos to Ed. He is soo talented and one of the nicest guys in the industry I’ve seen. He’ll make an awesome pop song. But then blow you away with a love song with just his guitar.

What's crazy is that he plays 100,000 gigs the same. Voice, strings, loop pedal. And that's IT for 2 hours.

Loved this. Even when this is (for me) one of his least good songs, it is still good, and I really like how he approached some of the parts of this song. I would be nice if you reacted to his earlier stuff from + or x, and there's also very good things in the most recent albums.

He is SO talented, it is a shame that he became so poppy in the last records. His raw folk voice and style sound much better. Bad Habits rock version for instance is much more authentic than the original. It almost sounds like all his songs are initially folk/rock and he/the record label turned them into pop songs.

Ed's next album Subtract (-) which will be released soon, is stripped back acoustic type songs, and people will then complain about his slow boring guitar songs again

OK BETH, you have GOT to see and hear this, not so much to review, but just to be totally entertained. If I tell you what it consists of, you probably won't watch, or you very much might, depending. A little bit like Steve & the Seagulls would have been if I'd explained it to you beforehand, I have never seen anything like this, either. Some spectacular base playing, two excellent voices that could not possibly have come from more disparate disciplines, and it is not just entertaining, but POWERFUL as well. He's got a bunch of other great and varied stuff out, too. His voice is very flexible and he really knows how to use it, and his covers are very unique. If you've never seen Davey's channel, hang on for the ride. He left marginal insanity behind a long time ago, but he's funny, not so much in this one, but others. Pretty darned good slapper, too. I just realized he does nothing on the bass there. And I mean he can REALLY play the base, here's a short example.
