Yes you are right he is the less known nephew of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan i.e. famous one being Rahat Fateh Ali Khan who is also incredible and you reacted to him in the past with Chaap Tilak. This session of S06 included artists from around teh world brought together CS Producer Rohail Hayyat so probably they were in different rooms or maybe countries aswell. And also you were right it was kind of Sufi Rick that was Ali Azmat bands Junoon main genre, one of the best bands in Pakistan. I would like to recommend you the latest season of Coke Studio which is quite modern in terms of more up beat music but still incredible with every song having its own music video i.e. diff stage setups and all recorded live i.e. music and video in same take, the song I would recommend is "Tu Jhoom by Abida Parveen and Naseebo from CS14" adn from older seasons "Hor Vi Neevan Ho by Noori".

The second part of the song by Muazam Ali Khan is a traditional Punjabi folk story about Sohni and Mahiwal. The heroine Sohni drowns in the river while trying to wade the river with the help of a defective clay pot which disintegrates in the water, and which was replaced by the evil sister in law of the heroine to kill her. The dialogue in the song is between the heroine Sohni and the clay pot which is trying to warn her of the danger to her life in search of love of Mahiwal who awaits her on the other side of the river.

Honestly I've never even been able to make it through the entirety of this song before (but i did today just for you lol). I would start with Kangana. This is a 'Qawali'. Qawali music is a sufi tradition in India/pakistan dating back 1000 years. It has a rich history and is a super genre in its own right. Lyrics are mostly very very old poems. there is a lot of focus on vocalizations and long trance like phases. This particular song uses a 10 count rhythm with claps on 1 3 and 8 beats. the vocalists are masters of rhythm and they test the limits of it with their melismatic passages.
