Coke Studio suprised me for another time. These singers are such big talents on how they control their voices and play with rhythm and melodies. I'm sorry that I mistook not to have subtitles, I guess they simply didn't sing actual words in those parts they were missing. The whole composition was progressive, it had a very positive touch and was spiritual as to expect from a qawwal. I'm just at the beginning of my journey to discover the world.

In the beginning before the sub titles. That was them just running through scales. Hence no subtitles.
Most underrated channel. Not everyone is lucky enough to feel music.
When you can't c subtitles that mean you are listening to something can't be mastered in couple of years. Not a lot of qawal can do that any more. Traditionally, Indians have just seven svaras/notes with short names, e.g. saa, re/ri, ga, ma, pa, dha, ni which Indian musicians collectively designate as saptak or saptaka. It is one of the reasons why svara is considered a symbolic expression for the number seven.
Forget about understanding the lyrics, it takes deep understanding and knowledge of the religion, language, culture, history of Muslims in Indian subcontinent to understand it. Even we struggle with the meanings.
Yes qawwal. He's chewing a paan , betel leaf. Most qawwals are addicted to this. Teeth always red!
Yes yes yes!! Finally it’s my favorite song of all the coke studio. Whenever I feel sad or angry I listen to this. It calms me down. The beginning is more like melody or notes so there is no translation for them. Edit: The old coke studio songs are usually two song or poems combined. So that’s something to keep in mind for the future. Plus the description box is really something you should read before every coke studio song. Also while watching this video I got a notification that Coke Studio Pakistan dropped a video. Don’t know what it’s about but the coincidence was funny.
Thank bro for accepting my request.. ❤️❤️
FYI, the two main singers are the 26tg GENERATION of singers intheir family. At the root of Pakistani and Indian singing is the idea that a great singer can train their voice make many sounds including imitating musical instruments and making sounds that appeal for animals. The singing at the beginning and end with no subtitles were them jamming like a blues band. Those riffs by them and Nusrat just take you on a trip and you don’t even have to know the language.
Thanks a lot brother for check this out. To truly get lost in the World of Rhythm, Check out Kangna & Mori Bangri from the same artists Fareed Ayaz, Abu Mohammed Coke Studio.

2 recommendations for my side 1. Nawai Ney performed by Tina Sani on Coke Studio - you will find it on Rohail Hayat’s youtube page. The poetry in this song is a reminder for mankind to remain on good path as the world ends and meeting with creator happens. Every human will be judged on their deeds. Tina Sani is a class in her own 2. Naina Moray coke studio 10. This is a mix of thumri and qawali. Qawali is about the rhythmic sounds made by mouth as you’ve been hearing with no subtitles while thumri is a complete song of any duration with 1 line but sang differently every time. It’s a different style to react to so recommended it
Congrats 8k
The guys at the The Dream Journey covered this track before Coke Studio, Its a group of friends that host mainly qawaali music. Watch it if you can and compare it, "Aadam - Kaan Roz ke Rooh e Aadam Amad Babadan - Fareed Ayaz & Abu Muhammad". The most amazing track they have is "Daikh Le Shakl Meri Kis ka Aayina Hun Mein by Maulvi Haider Hassan Vehranwale" . Its bought tears to the few people I've recommended to..
These are the scales. So just a genius use of notes
I'm addicted to your reactions and Pakistani music 🎶
You should definitely check their unplugged version of this It will be on the Dreams journey channel with same name 'Adam'
Thanks for the reaction
Wahhhh wahhhh so nice ❤
One of the best music and rithm music Have I ever listened to
This is a very very very very high quality of music. One need to be highly learned to understand this level. The part where there are no subtitles is actually Cannot be translated as its an Indic sound that they make like notes of music and notes of beats. You need to learn a a looooot to catch this
Naina Moray from Coke Studio is probably the most technically accomplished song, the travesty it has only 4.2m views. The guy pulls of series of notes as difficult as Minnie Riperton in "Loving You"
Legends at their best
They are playing through notes. In subcontinent we have different notes pronunciations for human voice, there are seven sa, re, ga, ma, pa, da, ni, sa. And there are different notes pronunciations for different instruments as well. They were singing the instruments notes in the start that's why there were no subtitles
Awesome
Aye..yo ..gutt ..my friend ..yeah
When Rohail Hyatt is behind the production and composition of music, it's already divine.
Hey Cojak our national poet Allama Iqbal who presented the first time the ideology of two nation theory to the Muslims of subcontinent was him. Out of his many books there was a book from which your german philosopher translated his all books, I am referring to the Shikwa, Jawab e Shikwa.... here is the reference please do check. Annemarie Schimmel was an influential German Orientalist and scholar who wrote extensively on Islam, especially Sufism. She was a professor at Harvard University from 1967 to 1992. Wikipedia
Love your reactions! Please react to Kangna from coke studio.
In the whole performance, Two prophets are mentioned 1. Hazrat Adam, father to all of mankind and 2. The final prophet hazrat muhammad (peace be upon all of them), whole of muslim world follows his teachings.
Now react to kangna by same singers coke studio ❤️❤️ Loved your reaction on aadam it was like a rollercoaster ride right? 🔥🔥
You should listen “Rung” sung by them
Sufi poetry is highly metaphorical. One has to know about it to even understand it at a basic level. It absolutely however is not to be taken literally. The story that soul was reluctant to enter the body of Adam and when David sang to it only then did it enter. It is also metaphorical. It actually means that the soul saw itself as pure and was reluctant to enter a vessel made of dirt. Only when David sang did the soul realise the capability of human body to create music and have gift of beautiful voice. Hence only then it found it worthy to enter. Signifying the connection of music and the art of singing with human soul. And ultimately it’s connection with the ultimate truth
The music style this is following is a music style famous in the Indian subcontinent called Ragas.
There is no subtitle for sa re ga ma ( syllables of singing)
The second sa was the next levels first note
They chew on beetle leaf 🍃 which is addictive like tobacco and its condiments give brown colour to their teeth. In sub continent you'll often see people chewing it. It clears the throat and voice.

@@AndogaSpock It can very well be betel nut (supari) my friend :) But yes, it could be a mix of both too. But usually, I have known classical musicians who mostly chew paan which consists of supari (sookhi or geeli i.e. dry or wet), kattha, choona, with a flavouring paste which consists of kewra, sandalwood, saffron, and maybe other fragrant flavouring spices. Moreover, mulethi (licorice) is also used at times which opens/clears the throat. We see mulethi being used in natural cough lozenges like Hamdard Sualin etc. for the very same reason. This all is wrapped in betel leaf and consumed. :)

Adams soul , from the divine was told to enter the clay body, which was just darkness, totally foreign, ,in the voice of Daud, David who had great voice, ,
Second Part is also in PERSIAN Language & poet is Ameer Khusro.
🇮🇳 Loved it
So... Fareed sahab is chewing on paan at the same time... its´ insane!
When they say Sallal Laahe Alaihe wassallam, they are referring to the prophet Muhammad
Second Part was ended with love from NIZAM UD DIN AWLIYA TO THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD BE PEACE UPON HIM.
In the beginning, what they were doing was just using "Raag" to build up the whole musical episode. You can search for it. It's freaking unbelievable they were using raag for the whole 4 minutes!!! Astonishing
Enjoy the music...don't worry too much about lyrics...
Also highly recommended Mundri by coke studio
If you want translation you must go for PERSOAN LANGUAGE OF THE FIRST PART OF THE SONG. WHILE SECOND PART IS AMEER KHUSRO & NIZAM UD DIN AWLIYA.
Allap of Raag No one can understand without learning. No meaning of Raag .it is technique . these are notes of music . They spend years n years to learn it . Devine words are very rare in it
Religious songs are really good... I listen to many of em like Nodic pagan song, Muslim songs, Christian chants, Mongolic Tengrism, Hindu festival songs ... they have good messages
Without title must be ragas
Brother its Qwaali. Which means To repeat the Qol. (quote or poetry ) they repeat the many times with same rythm and many times different to show how many different types of rythm they create with just 1 line
request for reaction nescafe basement -song is [sawal/kandey uttey] singers are ALI AZMAT and MUAZAM ALI KHAN thanks
Hi He sings in Persian language or Farsi But may be he is Pakistani or Indian Because their language is Urdu Urdu language is invited by Iranians when nader shah Afshar an Iranian king invaded India And conquered it in his army there were some people from different nationalities Therefore in the camp they weren’t understand each other Languages For these reason they invited a language mixed Farsi Arabic and Hindi or Hindustani for communication between themselves and then called it Urdu which means in Farsi or Turkish camp Urdu = camp

Nizamuddin was a saint and currently his tomb is in Delhi. Hindus and muslims both visit this tomb to pay their respects.
PLEASE DO KANGANA BY THEM
Lyrics are in Persian Language. Its about the creation of human being, just listen & enjoy , don't go after title. Its about the creation of soul in the human.
Khwaja Nizammuddin Auliya , may he be blessed, was a very big Sufi Saint
He chew Paan It give a cry bloody color in mouth but the taste helps a lot to maintain the Voice. Sometime they keep a bowl near where they spit Because usually they sing for hours so they need to maintain the voice .....most of the quwwalli singers do this .

When God created first human, the soul was ordered to enter the body but it was hesitant to enter into this dark body. Se David was called who had beautiful voice. David sang and upon hearing his melodious voice soul entered body thus human came into existence. This qawaali is story telling Read Fareed Ayaz’s body language in his performance his hand gestures are narrating the story. He does it in every song of his He’s chewing on betel quid

He is chewing PAAN, and it's causing the sound to come out of his glands just like they want. this PAAN plays a very big role in pronouncing sounds and words in a way they need to. And without PAAN this wouldn't be attractive. This is the hardest singing art here in Pakistan and only counted people can do this while holding PAAN in their mouth for this long time while pronouncing words.
Plz Brother Tu Kuja Man Kuja Naat By Awais Raza Qadri Reaction Video plz 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰
These singers are chewing bettle nuts just to make their voice little bit heavy this kind of singing needs lot of stamina and a good memory to memorize all verses
the lyrics are poetic not reality. Adam's soul did not refused to enter the body it has a hidden meaning which is not literal
They are having "paan" or betel juice, that's why their teeth look unhealthy but that is actually not the case, most of the singers use this technique to prevent dryness of throat, because the alaps and other vocal activities they are doing while singng may result into this problem
It's ancient form of qawali. Those words without meaning are raags( an Ancient way) He chewing paan you can say herbal cigarette. It's a genre which was nearly extinct but coke studio revived it. But still it's old people favourite not majority of youth isn't fan of this genre

CokeS studio Pakistan provided a lot of good Music 🎶 But from the last 2 seasons, it's kind of boring ?
He's singing in old Persian language. His mouth is all red and dirty due to excessive chewing of beetle leaf 🍃 which you will only find in subcontinent, it stains your teeth, mouth and overall the whole oral cavity, it's very addictive and can cause cancer, the reason they eat it is to keep their voices very clear, but the stains are extremely hard to remove.... many people in subcontinent actually die because of excessive use of it. Health authorities always discourage the use of this beetle leaf 🍃.....
They are chewing betel which is a stimulant. It is also acidic and ruins your teeth.
Paan leaf chewing, makes your throat and tongue more clear Many singers do that
He’s chewing on tobacco lol
Please react on 9 shocking facts from the Quran
Lead singer is chewing Tobacco mixed with honey, mint and other ingredients. traditionally it is consumed by some Qwaals to protect their specific Girth, Tone and melodious voice. It looks gross, I know.
Do Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan . these qawals are no match to him
You need to study a little bit about Eastern music bro.
You should have watched the bts before reacting to this..
Islam does not allow music
first of all this is not islam. qawwali can not potray islam.
