I'm 62 and I feel exactly the same way. I think, besides his phenomenal talent and work ethic, it's his humility and his love of bringing support and encouragement to young people around the world. And it's his true love for us, his "Dears" (the name he has given to us his fans - because as he said "when you love someone you call them "dear".) He is such a good person with incredible talent, work ethic and moral values, in my humble opinion - and I, too, will follow him for the rest of my life ... something I don't normally do.

It's not entirely accurate to say Igor wrote for Dimash, they collaborate so Dimash has a great amount of input and so does Erlan Becturin his best friend and musical arranger so it's not all Igor. Also the lyrics were written for this song by Lara Fabian. So quite a big collaboration 💖

I love how Igor Krutoy brings back the string arrangements of earlier days. When it comes to musical style I often compare Igor to French composers like Michel Legrand, which seems to be confirmed by the inclusion of a harmonica within this song. BTW Dimash seemed to enjoy himself. he didn't just walk back to the piano ... he danced back, not to say hopped back. ^_^

There was a vocal coach who claimed this entire thing was lip syncing (Sam Johnson) then he backtracked and said he was unsure but the haters already jumped on this. They don’t know the difference between backing vocals for certain parts and full lip sync. It’s a pop style song. Pop songs always have backing tracks to add to the performance. If anyone watches the fancam version of this performance you can clearly see he’s singing live. Not to mention there’s countless acapella videos showcasing dimash’s amazing voice with nothing accompanying him.

People don't understand that saying someone lip syncs to one performance is NOT the same as saying they can't sing.. nobody has ever denied that Dimash is an incredible singer. Matthew Rentschler You cant just go around speculating something is lip sync without any evidence though. Thats why sam was so stupid. He quickly changed his tone and said maybe hes not. He didnt know. Its insulting to an artist to claim theyre lip syncing when theyre not. Unless theres solid evidence its just wrong to do. Dimash has performed at much bigger events and with harder songs. He wouldnt need to.

Would you be just as receptive? Would you understand why this is happening or would you deny the possibility with inconsistent excuses?

Please go check Dimash's Samaltau from Tokyo Jazz Festival 2020, just from the last 24th May, on his birthday. It's recorded from his home studio and he's only accompanied with two musicians playing ancient traditional Kazakhstan instruments. We all thought his "Ascolta La Voca" from Arnau Kiev concert was intimate, but THAT version of Samaltau is way more personal since he's not performing on huge stage, without his complete bandmates, no spectacular lighting or pyro works, no fancy clothes or bouncy dancers. Just in a clean, cream colored peaceful home studio, sitting cross legged on a chair. But trust me, the mystical and ethereal atmosphere he creates there is just unbelievable. This one for many of dears is one of the most artistic and sophisticated performances of Dimash to date.

It may not be the most dynamic in terms of what we're used to hearing Dimash, but the pathos he is able to invoke from the melody is definitely worth listening to and impressive in its own right.

Addressing the lipsyncing thing here. There is a backing track but you can obviously see him singing this. There is a difference. Some people say that his mouth doesn't match the words but if you look closely you'll realise that it's just how he pronounces the words. It has to be looked at many times but you'll get it soon. Also, his pronunciation here isn't great in comparison to across endless dimensions. That's because that was studio recorded so he had many chances to work with people and to perfect it. If this performance was playback you would have definitely been given better English. For example; in the beginning he says 'when we were one' and he mixes up the words, but for the second time he says it he corrects himself. Also, he says 'every word I can sing' but because he made the 'g' at the end a hard sound instead of an 'ng' sound you hear it as 'conceive'. If it wasn't live it would've been better. The reason I compare this to across endless dimensions is because these two songs were around the same time and there are significant differences between these songs. just because some people cannot detect mistakes or discrepancies in a performance doesn't mean that there aren't any, to the untrained ear these things don't exist. Same for Olympico/ Ogni Pietra, many people think that is the same track used in every performance. But just because they can't hear the differences doesn't mean that it's playback, this man is a CONSISTENT performer. It's simply insulting to his integrity as a performer and to his personality. there are many singers e.g for Broadway or maybe even opera singers who have to sing the same song night after night and are expected to do so perfectly every time, so why can't Dimash do the same? For fear that this comment may be too long I will not say too much about Ogni Pietra. Only that every performance I've seen, I can assure you that it's live

It all sounds very beautiful what you say ... to a passionate fan. For a professional who understands the vocal requirement that Dimash undergoes in each song, having concerts of 20-25 songs each more demanding, your flowery premise will sound really toxic and ridiculous. Because that is what it is. Denying Dimash lipsync is not praise or support for Dimash, but forcing him into inhuman tension that would destroy his career in the long run. For you the word health, or common sense, does not seem to exist in the "Dimash dictionary". And yes, I am a professional, so worried about Dimash I have digitally analyzed dozens of versions of his songs, and I can say without the slightest shadow of a doubt that he does lipsync. Sometimes in the whole song, sometimes in the middle of it. I am not going to say in what songs or in what ways, because it is not the point, the point is that you must leave your ideal world and really start to love Dimash, the flesh and blood, not the celestial being immune to wear and tear and that he can do anything, which only exists in the imagination of extreme and irrational fans.

@MinorSingingAirhead Of course Lipsync is doing. They don't even lack proof for this case ... he has done the same in almost all the presentations of his songs, which are extremely demanding and there is no margin for error. Why would this case be different? It's time for them to learn to live with it and stop taking Dimash for a fool, as if he couldn't decide for himself what is best for the logevity and health of his career.

Excellent reaction and nice breakdown! If you go check his octaves, you'll find that the lowest he went towards the beginning was an F2 and during the Staccato portion he hit an F6 - so, in this song he went a full 4 octaves. Now that's impressive, but as he is doing these key changes he is also raising octaves which sound normal, but this isn't because a key change doesn't always mean an octave change - so impressive!

Also see the imaging of Dimash that presenst him as a Japanese "Anime" Characterization. Posturing, expression, dramatic angling, even the hair. Would enjoy watching Dimash singing a song done with him presented by Anime animation. They wouldn't have to change much. WOW!

I love your reactions - thank you. Dimash has acknowledged that he has longer vocal chords & all of his vocal teachers (he has been trained by Kazakhstan’s elite - particularly Marat Aitimov) have said that he is rare because he has a four & a half octave range of “pure” tones & he does not need to use falsetto. We also know that he sang soprano when he was young & worked hard to keep his soprano register through puberty. I am not a musician but am wondering if you can share your thoughts on this please. It would be good to see the lyrics, especially in the second part of the song. His English slips a bit, though he has come such a very long way in learning the language! The last line is, I believe, "You will hear every tear I cry", and he switches a short i "lives", where it should be a long i "lives", a bit earlier. Love, love, love Dimash, and so look forward to your reviews and enthusiastic delight in these doses of "vitamin D" !!

Nice reaction to Dimash singing Your Love. It does not come as a surprise that when you put Lara Fabian on lyrics and Igor Krutoy on composing and Dimash Kudaibergen as a performer you will get a masterpiece like this. Great performance by Igor and Dimash. Greetings from Amsterdam.
