I'm stunned that you could get to 2023 without having heard of Morissette... You really need to hear her covers of "Never Enough" and "Rise Up" and, well, pretty much anything else she's ever sung.

The decor and video quality would suggest this is a video originally recorded at the very start of the channel.
Her technique is impeccable. That long phrase, though! Great reaction!
A surprise re-upload. Morisette has a great singing voice.

This is an iconic performance from Morissette because I believe you’ll never see this whistle register included in this song ever again in her future performances. Truly amazing voice!

Thank you so much for reacting to Morissette. Your reactions are always so "authentic" and intelligent. You are one of the BEST music reactors on YT! 👍👏
RISE UP cover by this young lady is FANTASTIC ! Again her presentation of the song moves the soul. 👏
Morissette will always be the best vocal athlete anytime , anywhere 😮😅😊
Love your reaction! Welcome to Morisette’s world, our very own Asia’s Phoenix! She will melt your heart with her “Emotions”, she will lift you up in “Rise Up”, bring you to the skies and “Fly like A Bird”, but it’s “Never Enough”, “And I Am Telling You” a “Secret Love Song” will make you want more but will finally realize a “Resignation” and surrender to a talented and humble Morisette! New sub here!

Yes! My fave part of this isnon the back end where she did one breath and the phrasing was about 17, 18 seconds???? She literally soared! Whistle note is impressive for sure but her soaring is just ridiculously good. ❤❤❤❤

I thought it looked like an older recording! Thanks for confirming .
Nice one spotting the impressively long phrase (14 seconds) AFTER an equally impressive high note belt and runs. A lot of reactors and reviewers miss that. 💚👍🏽
I have been waiting for a while for you to revist Morisette, so happy to see her on the channel again. If you think you would like to hear more, her cover of Rise Up by Andre Day on the wish bus is one of her most iconic and popular performances. I would also recommend her video from the Asia song festival 2017 where she does "secret love song" and Maria Carey's "Emotions", and she does a great cover of Maria Carey's "fly like a bird" that I think you would really enjoy. There are loads of other great songs and performances by her, but these are the ones I think you would enjoy the most imho. Thanks again for taking the time check out Morisette and read the recommendations, I look forward to see more reactions from her and all the other great artists you break down.

Agreed! - Loving Elizabeth reacting to the fantastic Morisette! - 100% seconded on Fly Like a Bird (we both know that's gong to blow Elizabeth away at points! 😉), Morisette's stunning Wish Bus performances of Rise Up, Never Enough, and Secret Love Song, and I personally absolutely LOVE her version of "She Used To Be Mine"... I'd never heard of it prior to hearing Morisette's interpretation, and I've since listened to other singers' versions (even the originals), and hands-down prefer Morisette's version - not only her singing, which is absolutely beautiful as always, but her heart-rending, in-character performance just sells the song even more... ❤
Omg, I now have a new artist to follow. Thank you ❤
I don't understand how breathing is optional for Morisette
She's really, really good!
OMGG she's awesome 👌. I love her voice. I have been watching her for months now
I really enjoyed your reactions and analysis. Mori is very talented artist.
Filipinos love singing with the "whistle notes" now because of Morissette's often application to her songs of that particular note.
She's also known as the phoenix of the philippines. One of the best singer of the planet on my opinion.
She’s one of a kind! ❤😘
Can´t say enought of Morisette, always brings tears to my eyes ;) I think you would love, Morissette Amon - rise up❤
Wow! You did another Morisette performance ^^ I thought that this was an old video at first but then I saw that it was uploaded recently. Thank you for your hardwork!
Elli, you have the voice of an Angel
Such a great performance and I'm so glad you checked it out! Love your insights, every single time. You should definitely check out her do Defying Gravity from home during COVID-19 shutdowns.
Wait, was she SITTING for the entirety of that performance?? Holy crap... Every so often, an artist comes along that is so far above and beyond, it's almost super-human.
Great review. Rise Up and Never Enough need to be reviewed as well. Truly a great singer.

Morissette has a unique voice mix of grawling squecking whistle tone and bending much higher her voice in two step much higher so beautifully executed bravo amazing singer we have in these nation!

Idky but whenever i saw people react from mori i always have this overwhelming feeling and im so proud of my girl because people recognized how talented she was i just hope she would get more recognition she deserves .More power to your channel maam thanks for doing this reaction video for mori❤
Great review! Morissette is special. Shas amazing otherworldly breath control! You must listen to her singing Could You Be Messiah.
I have heard her at work a lot of my coworkers love her awesome and we missing the octopus feels weird it not being there.
What a wonderful vocalist and wonderful reaction! The Philippines are a WEALTH of untapped talent. Singing is a huge part of their culture. It is wonderful that you have such a broad and diverse audience! Speaking of broad audience, I think it would be really interesting for both you and your viewers if you gave Dan Vasc a listen, Specifically his rendition of Amazing Grace. Dan Vasc is the lead singer of a metal band from Brazil called "Fearless". His take on a 250 year old hymm will leave you both shocked and delighted. Thanks for your wonderful content. Cheers!
Impressive voice!
Thank you for re-introducing Morissette to the world, patricularly to your subscribers and viewers who have not heard of her. 🥰 I hope you will continue to react to Morissette's other performances. There's a lot of these on KZread from 2016 to present. The most recent ones include her "Bruno Mars Evolution Medley" on her channel, also her performances during David Foster's concert series in Manila of "Never Enough" and the "Bodyguard Medley (Whitney Houston)" (Day 1 and Day 2 respectively, please), also a Filipino viral hit song "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw" on the Wish Bus. Thanks and looking forward to your reviews and analyses of these. 🥰

She sings in various genres of music, not only power ballads like this "Akin Ka Na Lang". I've read in some comments that even though this is not their "cup of tea" they are still impressed with her singing. That's a good thing to know. So in her other performances, which could be the music they prefer, they may like Mori even more. Try and feature her covers for Whitney, Mariah, Celine, Jessie J., Demi Lovato, even her Broadway songs covers on "Sessions Quaranthemes". Many times, we have to watch and see more than one performance to really appreciate and admire an artist. 🥰
You've actually listened to her 2yrs ago. She sang "I wanna know what love is" :) . Nonetheless, I love your reaction videos. P.S. I love your reactions too :)
This was the gateway drug video that got me into KZread. Superb (also led me to my ultimate rock band Band-Maid...my Fate to be a Maidiac). Morrissette's 'Rise Up' performance on the Bus is awesome too...especially given she wasn't 100% well...that extra rasp elevates the feels though!!!
I have chills!
Woooaaahh.....🫨🤯......👏👏👏👏👏
Very nice analysis. Now that you have started reacting to Morissette you will be bombarded with request to react like, Never Enough (Lauren Allred), Rise up (Andra Day) and Secret Love Song by Little Mix.
Ever since youve become a rock chick, i was hesitant to recommend her but i really wanted to!! So happy to watch this come to last! So love the reaction and the technicalities you teach us! 😊 also im still a rocker and introduced you reacting to my favorite rock bands to my wife.. she loves it too! 😂

React to Never Enough by her, Its amazing
I am not sure if this one is reuploaded or not. I think I've seen this reaction before in this same channel. I could be wrong. It's been a while since you reacted to Morissette. You were one of the reactors I was looking forward to react to Morissette back then, but for the last two years, I only saw one Morissette reaction (I Want To Know What Love Is performance). Nonetheless, I really hope you will react to more of her stuff. Her old and recent stuff are worth listening. It's like a journey of how her musicality improves as time goes by.
As a massive ELO fan, this reaction is 🔥.
I think it’s a crime that you haven’t reacted to Morisette singing “Never Enough” from The Wish Bus. 😍

I am sure, I have seen this already. Seems to be a reupload. Still: a very good analysis! And we all know what Morissette is capable of. You might react also to her more recent stuff, such as her performance of „Gusto ko nang bumitaw“, where she also showcases the full range of her talent!

Fantastic singer
I feel like I've already watched this reaction video a couple of years ago.
I love that you picked a strong female to analyze for this round! I would like to suggest one of my favorite female voices in metal. Her name is Maria Brink and she is the lead vocalist for the band In This Moment. Not only does Maria have an tragic childhood that she turned into awesome music, she has a very distinct sound that I would love to hear your analysis of! I would like to suggest her song The Fighter. Not only is it an amazing song but the music video is a head shot of her singing for the entirety!!
I don't have kids, but watching your channel is what I imagine a parent must feel seeing their child experience something for the first time. That sense of pure joy and discovery in each of your videos is amazing. I have a band recommendation for you. Stereolab - specifically the song Super-Electric. It is five minutes of harmonic bliss within a wall of sound created with droning guitars and drums and, of course, a MOOG. The vocals in this song aren't maybe the most intricate but the harmonies the singers create and how they meld into the guitars must be heard to be believed. Headphones are a must and the album version is the best for the richest experience. The energy in the song easily rivals that of a lot of metal. Guaranteed it will open a door to a whole new wold of music.
The best singer in the world
Pretty cool that you have multiple rooms to record vods 😊
Buzzing that you're finally hitting some Morissette!
I think I watched this exact reaction a year ago. Maybe it was reuploaded. Anyway Happy to see it again.
whoa! I see you have already reacted to Morissette.
I'd like to say that you have a very symmetrical (and pretty) face and I enjoy watching your reactions. :)
Would love to see your reaction / introduction to HIM ! Especially HIM - Bury Me Deep Inside Your Heart (Live at Rockpalast 2000) 🌹 or additionally Our Diabolikal Rapture (Overdrive Television in 1998)
Please check out her Live Band performance of “Gusto Ko Ng Bumitaw.” It’s amazing. More recent performance from her.
I remember way back when I was still part of a choral group our conductress/trainer/vocal coach/teacher told us that... "When you sing it with your heart, and when you feel the song, then all the unusuals will come unimaginably out fascinating everybody up off their seats"...
This is the kind of voice I would love to hear experimenting with different genres of music, just to see where it leads. Spectacular abilities! 0% my genre of music but I still have a great overall impression.

DAN VASC, Amazing Grace. You have to have a pile requests all ready.
MY GOD! Never Enough from her is OUTSTANDING!!! You have to react to it!!!!!!!!!!!
I would love for you to listen to falling in reverse last resort. It’s an amazing reinventing of an already amazing song. 😊
Your hair looks great!
This week on Flashback....flashback.... flashback... 🤘
Someone really needs to recommend her to do a reaction to "one ok rock"
Wow!!
Love your reaction. She nails these very high notes really well! I think you should also check Rachelle Ferell. I can't think of someone with a larger vocal range (six octaves, up into the whistle register and very loud). She uses her voice in a very creative way and can put lots of emotions in it. I would love to see your reaction on some of her once. Some suggestions: "I can Explain" and "Prayer Dance" from the live concert at Montreux in 2002.
Morissette! 👸🔥🔥🔥❤️
