Yes! Once you have kids, is sooo much harder to do things like that. I’m so glad I went and finished college before getting married.

Hey girl! I just wanted to give some friendly advice from another cook who works in a restaurant full-time. The stress of working on the line and being in the middle of a rush, I could see being a lot for yourHealth and as you know, chefs and their attitudes aren’t gonna want to hear that it’s too much pressure.. (I am actually legally blind, and the first thing I was told when I started my career path was that I could not use my vision as excuse to not do something ) I personally never went through a culinary arts program however, I was lucky enough to have a Michelin star Chef take me under his wing and teach me everything on the job . Saved a ton of money and a boatload of time and also got paid to work while I learned! I guess where I’m going with this is before you commit to a year-long program and potentially ending up in a miserable situation maybe look into some sort of a mentorship with someone you could trust! I wish you the very best and I pray that God shows you all the right answers! ❤

Sadly Seed upset my stomach… tried for months and despite them advising to stay at one capsule my stomach didn’t improve and I had to stop taking.

Michel it doesn’t seem like you are 100% sure. Is this school accredited? Will any of your previous credits transfer (because they should if you have a bachelors in nutrition already). Why do you feel like you need to do this right now? It’s a brand new program, maybe let them work out the kinks first? So many things to think about.

Old Navy has the best pants that are beachy stretchy comfy. They seem last okay.

Old Navy is good for budget friendly beach wear. They have regular, petite,tall and generous with sizes.

I have been loving Gap and old navy for their linen blend pants!

I also was going to suggest you check out Old Navy and Gap for their linen and gauze pants! They also have shorts and tops as well as skirts! Super comfortable and breathable. You could pair them with your oversized sweaters you love and also matching long sleeve shirts. Check them out! I find the waist is a little more fitted than the hip as well which will work well for your body type.

I am also recommending Ild Navy and the Gap for linen blend pants, shorts, and cotton t-shirts (the pants and shorts have elastic or tie waists. I would follow the advice of Jordy, your parents, sister, and close friends all of whom know you best then jump in and have fun while you learn 👏🏻👍🫶🙏 Best of luck - you’ll do great ❤📚💐🥰

The linnen collection from Arket and Cos is great. Got different tops and bottoms and have been wearing them on repeat for 3 summers now.

I don't know how you feel about Old Navy, but they have a lot of great basic items. I have a couple of their linen shorts and linen pants.

I feel you!!!! I’m only 5’5 but my inseam in 34 to 36(depending on brand)!!!!! I AM ALL legs!

If you want beachy clothes try surf brands like Billabong or Roxy. Lots of cute, casual, decently well made clothes.

I love the Quince tan linen pants / they have a nice elastic waist! I have a pretty straight / athletic type though.

I've had some luck with JCrew this year, but I'm not sure about quality. We'll see how they hold up.

It's the chances you DON'T take that you regret later. I think you guys made a great choice, and I doubt seriously that you'll regret it. Good luck on your endeavors!

For comfy, beachy linen clothes: try the Spanish brand Oysho. It looks like they at least have a US online storefront (not sure if they have physical storefronts in the US, I live abroad), and their line of linen pants/shorts/upscale beachy dresses is amazing

I honestly just gave up on jeans over time. I decided loose pants and skirts are the way to go! Even a "comfortable" pair of jeans doesn't feel as good as loose pants so why bother, at least for me :) I'm so happy you made your decision! You seem so passionate and happy about it, and I'm sure you'll thrive even more when you'll start!

I just ordered some cotton - linen pants from Gap that are super comfy! They have a button and zipper at the waist but also elastic so it really just feels like a stretchy waist. Will caveat that I am NOT a pear shape lol

Being a mom myself, I would say to go ahead and do what you are passionate about because when you become a mom, it's not that you lose your passions, but they change to those of your kids mainly. You live, sleep, eat, breathe your kids. Their needs, wants and desires trump yours in a way. If you want to do this... do it now. For sure

Suggestion for linen and comfy pants, get the ones you own and like and buy some fabric and have a seamstress copy them *or a friend who can sew* custom made pants for the win
