thank you so incredibly much! I'm so happy to hear that
I love the music used at the end of the video! It's sort of spooky 🍂
I would love to buy this as a print... It's absolutely stunning and so inspiring. Love your videos. Well done for persevering through troubled times. Keep your chin up x
My gosh you are super talented, that turned out beautiful Johanna and you should be very proud of all your hard work and dedication in getting it to that point. Great job!
wow! This is so beautiful!! You really inspire me to do more watercolor paintings. I like to see you back here, really like your kind of video's :)
Beautiful illustrations and the whole video put me in a good mood :) 🍃

Beautiful !
Woooow! This is beautiful! Lately I've been feeling a bit unmotivated to draw but actually also always wanted to illustrate some oak leaves and watching this motivates me so much to actually start 🍂💛😌

thank you!! :'')
Stunning work. The care and detail are outstanding - even though imperfection is beautiful, too. :) Thanks for everything you share including your music.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Absolutely gorgeous!!!!
I started following your channel years ago without knowing exactly what you do. I thought you were an art student like I was as our student work looked similar. As you shared more I found out you're a horticultural student. I must tell you your art work is better than many who call themselves botanical illustrators here on YT! I enjoy your vids and seeing Edinburgh, where I nearly went to study but chose another place instead. Hope this project scored highly?

Thank you so much! That's really funny :) The project got a merit but that's okay I didn't have a lot of time for it in my personal life so I'm very satisfied. Hope you're well!
Johanna your videos are exactly like how my dreams look if they trasnscend into reality. I m a zoology student. I love art . Your work is Aesthetic .🍁 🍁
It looks great!
I would love to have such quality drawings to learn from in my dendrology class
They are very beautiful
Wat een prachtige illustraties; je hebt echt talent!
Your illustrations are so beautiful. Congrats! Lovely to see you back with a video! P.S.I like the plant in the first seconds of the video! Do you know how it's propagated? It reminds me of Nasturtium tropaeolum, which I love.

Hi! Thank you so much. I propagated it from a larger plant through a cutting. They make little offshoots and those can easily be planted or rooted in water :) I do love Nasturtiums too, they're delicious and very pretty :)
So nice! My hobby is the same botanical illustration. From Japan.
Thanks for the acorns! I have been looking for acorn help! I see you are in Edinburgh, a city that I know very well. I used to live in Troon, but now I live in Delft in Holland.😊
you’re so talented johanna
awsome!
beautiful! You should be quite proud of that!!! - from a fellow artist and KZreadr
beautiful! Is the line art done in pen or pencil?
OMG I loved it!!! Congrats!! Are you a Biology/Botany student? Greetings from Mexico
I really love your illustrations! And specifically love oak trees ! It's a great subject ❤️ 🌸🌰Did you studied illustrations with rbge diploma? I did the certification course where I learned a lot and I would love to do the diploma course but level seems hight to be accepted.

The certificate was fun, I did it too. For the diploma I did study with them but really didn't enjoy it and didn't feel very supported with what I was going through at the time. The level to get accepted is not that high, I sent a bunch of random illustrations and got in. I recommend doing an in-person study or looking at youtube videos (basically what you get when you do the long-distance course...but FREE) but perhaps it's the right course for you, email me to ask me any questions if you like x

@@ForagingGardener thank you so much for your advices! 😉I'll keep think about it and keep learning by my own.
Is what you are putting on the finished illustration a set of mandated things or is it up to you?
