This 13 minute video taught me a lot of techniques rather than the 1hr ones available online.
The final touch - the stretching after painting, and that tip with the window glass - it quite a revelation to me. I always see people recomending stretching as a first step ( which I've tried and done, without getting the point of it because I'd get buckled paper anyway). Beautiful process to watch. Amazing technique and precision. Hats off! ❤
You are the "First" - Botanical Artist, that has a huge name in this Artistry!!! Yours is the "accolade" of Botanical Art!!!
I plan to focus on botanical painting. I'm glad that i found your video
I watched you do this some years ago and came back to watch it again this morning . It is fabulous ! 🌿🌿🌿
Her nice voice is an invitation to contemplate her wonderful illustrations. I love it.
Biological and medical illustration will always supercede photography with its exquisite sensitivity and detail...art meets science. That particular specimen of a Norfolk Island Pine is exquisite. If you're ever in San Francisco's Castro district there is a noble Norfolk within view of the Castro Muni Station if you're curious to see one in person
This was so mesmerizing to watch, she is a master artist. Incredible work!
Beautiful. Just makes me cry because of its beauty. Just beautiful.

Amazing. Love how she stretched her piece at the end.
Beautiful artwork and so relaxing, love it. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful, Angela. Your hard work and long hours are so worthwhile.
This is seriously fascinating! What a masterpiece! Thank you for sharing this beautiful art.
This is the magic that attracts me to watercolor
What a wonderful video! Soothing effect of the voice over throughout the video is really good. How I wished to use the apparatus used by the artist so carefully. Great patience and lovely botanical painting. Thanks for sharing.
The most scientific, accurate and superbly detailed botanical artwork what I've ever seen. Just amazing.
Oh my gosh! Absolutely stunning. I admire your patience, attention to detail and love for the plants!
Thank you for producing such a beautiful video. Art of this type is of the highest order and as a photographer, I am moved to witness the level of attention to detail and skill applied to creating such a work. It is very special to stand before artworks like these and now to have some insight into what goes into making them, I will have a deeper appreciation. Many thanks! David
SMASHING !! ....You are absolutely the best watercolor artist that I've ever seen !! There just isn't words grand enough to describe your talent.
Fantastic. Brilliant. Images of God, echoing divine creation in two dimensions.
How can 4 people left a thumbs down on this ??? .. it's incredible .. that's what it is ..wow

Sadly, many people don’t realise they are doing it. When a ‘suggested’ video pops up in their feed, they tap Not Interested, are asked Why, and tap I Don’t Like The Video, which then applies a thumbs down. They do it thinking it will filter away similar videos, or those on the same topic, from their feed. It’s only a couple/three years since YT took away the Topic options, and this is the result - unwarranted thumbs down ☹️
Your illustrations are as beautiful as Georges-Louis Leclerc de Buffon (1707-1788) illustrations. My father had some of them, and my sister and I inherited them.
I love so much this kind of illustrations
There's so much care and work put into it. I'm overwhelmed just trying to think about taking on even a tenth of the work.
Thank you for the video. I’m glad you spent time telling your viewers about the process.
I can't get "enough" of the knowledge this woman offers to the Botanical World! I have watched this episode for somewhat like 6 to 8 times now!
Truly a work of art. So satisfying to watch ❤
I'm going to be starting a botanical art class and I am loving the inspiration on this platform. What a beautiful piece
Nothing short of spectacular. Beautiful work.
Amazing art work and craftsmanship! What a beautiful way to appreciate nature and help preserving it (on paper and hopefully also in the field).
So beautiful. We can only imitate the beauty and genius of God's creation but the copy is still wonderful to behold.
Wow, I am in total awe!
Absolutely fantastic ❤🎉
Most beautiful thing I've seen for ages. Can't stop looking at it.
Beautiful work absolutely inspiring
The 'quality' of the watercolor , itself, is very vital!
Very admirable dedication!
Beautiful work, and thank you for sharing your talent with us.
So wonderful to watch your amazing artistic talent and allowing us to enjoy the intricate details of the Norfolk pine and cone…..thankyou from Pauline
Loved watching you go through this time-intensive labor of love! Wonderful!
I am inspired by you to have a go at Botanical Art. Your entire process, from collection of specimen to taping work on glass is the most enlightening watercolour video I have ever seen. Thank you & please do more videos.
Perfect. I've always wanted to see one of these types of drawings done start to finish. I wish the artist could have shown how she keeps her specimen alive long enough to sketch it, though
Finalmente alguém foi sincero sobre o tempo gasto para realizar um trabalho lindo como este. 200 horas...pelo que entendi. E também mostrou a técnica realizada de maneira honesta. Maravilhoso vídeo. Gratitude.
Beautiful! I'd love to be able to paint in such detail. Great skill!
It’s a labor of love.
Absolutely beautiful. Very inspiring.
That was just wonderful, thank you 💖 What stunning work and so very informative xoxox
Ohhh..so brilliant painting... superb 👍
MASTERPIECE!
Wonderful, Angela. Have watched the video many times now. Just love the process. Thank you.
Amazing and beautiful. I so wished I had what it takes to do something like this. Maybe not on such a grand size, but something that represents our Southeast Deserts in Arizona, USA. Thank you for your time and talent.
a PERFECT demonstration!! THANK YOU!
Mesmerising!
Just beautiful; lovely specimen.
Truly amazing artworks..
Impressive work, Angela, you shine through it.

Amazing. Thank you for sharing
WOW! Miss Angela is a truly disciplined artist/scientist. I loved this video.
your painting is absolutely stunning and you are inspiring!
No words for your work
Absolutely incredible!!!! I haven't had much of a chance to work with watercolor, this video is motivating!
I believe the way an artist paints really mirrors that artist's personality, I applaud this lady who has such a diligent and an elegant way of working, that sort of art requires considerable amount of patience and as someone who loves to paint with the moment rather than taking long times to plan out my piece I'm thoroughly impressed. I thrive to be more diligent the way I work and this has inspired me to work for that goal even more.

That is a very nice comment. I am a botanical illustrator and paint in a very detailed way. I have received comments over the years that I should “loosen up”. as if this style of painting is somehow undesirable. Every one has their own style and what is tight for them.
You're really a great artist. Thank you for sharing your passion
Truly beautiful!
Beautiful!
Amazing, just Beautiful !!!!

Such an inspirational video, thank you!
Stunning, every intricate tiny detail, it's alive with the essence of the plant. Pulls together into a strident, powerful tribute. Artistic genius and excellent. Perfect. Thank you for this beauty and inspiration 🙏🏼
lovely work and voice too
Wonderful video and beautiful artwork. Thank you.
I think your work is exceptional and this video truly inspirational. I am also a botanical artist, but not in your league. I was in Sydney for a few days earlier this year and spent some time in the Royal Botanic Gardens. I may even have seen the very Norfolk Pine from which you collected your specimen. I wish I could have seen your work in person rather than mediated by video. Perhaps next time. Thank you so much for making and posting this video.
This was very helpful. All my watercolor experience is in portraits but I've really been wanting to start botanical art.
Exquisito... Un nivel de detalles extraordinario...
mis respetos que paciencia....perfeccionista
Wonderful!
Thanks for sharing ..really beautifull and great master work From Singapore
