    mind boggling to see a watercolourist working to such large scale in watercolour. Must need bucketloads of paint, and deep pockets! i work quite small by comparison... agree that one needs a garden, even if ever so modest in size (as mine is) thanks for posting. The pitcher plant was magic! I too love the colours of the blue climber she has painted (its a weed in Australia, it just takes over the whole garden!)

    Dear Rosie: I have enjoyed watching this video over and over, trying to learn from another artist, who is now , the biggest in watercolour paintings! I am at awe with your works!     Absolutely gorgeous, I feel like you picked the photos I've taken and the flowers from my garden and captured them(and composed) in the most beautiful ways. I agree the Iris is a volumptious flower

    such gorgeous work Rosie, I love your work , so dramatic and ,....yes.....strong as you say. All the shapes and negative shapes as you see are apparent and part of your great sense of design as well as realistic illustration . A true artist, skilled and inspired.     How do one preserve the watercolor painting. Is there a special medium that keep them protect from too light.

    When they are framed there are special glass to protect from UV etc. I have also heard of a Spray coat but I'd be too afraid to.

    She "got" it there! ... With the 'light' ( orange light ) on the BLUE - Iris! I couldn't have had painted it as quicker! lol
