Hey! I just got accepted to McGill and your videos are super helpful. I'm just wondering where you were able to find the audio versions of your textbooks? That's such a great tip. Thanks!

Hi Elise!! Congratulations on your acceptance!! I got my audio books through an app called Audible. As a McGill student you also have access to an app called "OverDrive" which has some audiobooks as well.

Hey Liann!! So I'm about to start high school next year, and I'm really looking into the university of McGill(I wanted to be a surgeon when I'm older), but I was wondering what courses should I be taking and paying more attention to, could you please give me some suggestions??

Hi Ali! Most definitely! If you would like to be a surgeon I suggest you look into the prerequisite requirements for medical school. You can apply for medical school as long as you fulfill the requirements (although most people do it after their undergrad). For example, here are the medical school requirements at McGillL www.mcgill.ca/medadmissions/applying/requirements

Can u please help me with one question.....? How many days we have to go to the university If you are studying a GRADUATE degree? Because In many canadian colleges the students go for like, just 4 days... So Is that the same with mcgill?

Hi love!! I got my audio books through an app called "Audible". As a McGill student you also have access to an app called "OverDrive" which has some audiobooks as well. You can also find versions floating around the web (downloadable for free)!

So, what exactly does one do when he is in an engineering class in which all the students know these "tips" and all the students study the same hours as one another? I enjoy your channel and commend you for your efforts, but what else is left for me to do?

Hahaha, I don't think any two students study exactly a like! Everyone's brain spins in particular way, I think it's just about finding the study methods that work especially for you! For example, one of my friends was avid about making flashcards. Flashcards did nothing for me, they just didn't click with me.

Flashcards do not work for me either. I was very good in highschool, I had this burning motivation to learn but Uni just killed my desire for learning. The problem with "finding the study method" that works for me is there literally is no time, I don't know, I will just follow the path and see where it takes me.

Im sorry to hear that uni makes you feel that way :( You're so right, it feels like you literally have no time in university. I felt like that way for a while too! You really do need to put your brain on high gear all the time and it's exhausting. Follow your path, you may get better with practice! Best best best of luck!

Hi Liann !! I know you posted this two years ago but I was wondering if you're allowed to record lectures at Mcgill and if you'd recommend it? I figured that I could use your audiobook strategy with lectures as well in university.
