You call THAT average? @@giomusah2155 Are you for real? And that is comming from I guy (me) who prefers Mari Samuelsens' performance. But that doesn't change the fact that Ray (and his orchestra) were reaally good. Wtf can satisfy you if that is the "average" standard for you. Your negativism is quite unfounded and misplaced here. Also - I listened to Pinchas Zukerman's perfromance of Winter (if that is the guy you are refering to). Was is different - yes, was it better - hell no. It is preferences. I can accept you saying you don't like how Ray plays is (interprets it) but to say that the performance was "average. You are delusional.

To me the visuals and movements are always secondary, and I would honestly love a concert where you just hear the music and don't see anything, but it'd take someone playing like Ray here to actually make it enjoyable beyond belief. You can hear all of the movements, the elegance behind them and the emotions with your eyes closed

Your violin and bow seem to become extensions if yourself, not a separate instrument. I've never seen anyone play that way before 😯 Nice job 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The energy that you gave Ray was like no other thing I have ever seen with anyone playing Vivaldi winter. Good job for making an overplayed piece sound new again!🥰(and thank you for giving me some pointers I can look for practicing)

Amazing ensemble playing!!! The accentuation of the down bows is so sharp (not intonation sharp 😅) and really gives this winter a harsh, unforgiving feeling!
