Chloe learnt to play the piano at 2.5-years-old and started playing the violin at 4-years-old. Her mother, who is a music educator, shared that she initially exposed her daughter to music so that she can discover beauty in life. Chloe practices the violin for 5 hours every day. While her parents see her musical talent, they were surprised by her obsession with music at such a tender age.

I mean as a musician i feel music is about creating and having opinions. Maybe some came off aggressive but it is still their opinion and that is how music should be. If we all liked this and we all thought this was perfect there would be no diversity and diversity is the best thing about the music community.

  • @jtcye1162

I believe real musicians can be the most critical because they actually know what they are talking about. You are using critical and criticism like it's something negative but it is really not. I mean, a passionate musician would rather hear more criticism than not.

  • @nukesakuji

I mean.. not really lol. Some criticisms here definitely makes sense as a musician. Especially the ones pointing out the rushing of the orchestra and kinda fighting against each other cuz I did hear it, too, before reading the comments. It's not saying that it was horrible, it just would've been a little nicer if this wasn't the case. They're not discounting how great Chloe or the overall orchestra still played.

She's different from many of the other prodigies She has a core modesty, dignity and poise that are very appealing, and already she is playing music of different eras and styles with an impressive understanding of the musical architecture of the pieces, whether it is baroque, classical or romantic. She is very exciting to watch and listen to, yet she doesn't "show off" like many others. Everything is in the best possible taste, and joyful. She is an absolute treasure.

I loved the competition final version of this, the orchestra there was perfect, gentle when needed and aggressive when needed. Here, it seems like they are just aggressive, but I understand that each orchestra wants to put their own spin on the same piece, so in no way am I saying they are wrong. No musician wants to sound like another, and no orchestra wants to sound like another. But the other orchestra suited Chloe’s playing way more, and brought out how nuanced and subtle her tones are. Either way she will be awesome with screeching cats as her orchestra, awesome job Chloe!
