Hey man. Out of curiosity, would you be able to tell me how thick the seat is? An approximation is totally fine. I'm just trying to get a sense of whether it might be possible to shave some foam off. Looking at buying, but the height of the bike is a point of hesitation. Already settled on using a lowering kit/new rear shock.

You could maybe shave off an inch but honestly it’s not to high up. It’s just close to level with the bars so it makes it look high. Just lowering I think would be okay!

Yo the brown looks sick! I'm also thinking about wrapping the white on my vitpilen. Do you think one sheet of 3' x 5' would be enough for both sides and the middle piece?

Hi! Really dig the color combinations. How did you paint the rear suspension coil and what color did you use?

chalkboi Thanks! I actually powder coated it, took the whole coil out, then removed spring, and baked it in Brown Metallic to match. The original white also seems to be powder coat, so if you do go to do it, just scuff it up and paint or powder over it. Good luck!

I don’t no the color code no, it’s just the oem color. And yes it’s darker but still close enough that you don’t notice the difference

Mr Littlelegs the rear tail sticks out enough to block some. Also if riding in the rain you’ll probably be wet anyway

Ashrith Jadra just a generic one I got off of amazon. If you just search axle mount a few will come up. I think it was like $20 or something like that

Revolving Garage ok, I saw you used a castle nut. I am doing the same thins but it seemed the stock axle bolt would not thread enough with the axle plate in place. Can you tell me the castle nut you used? Thanks for your time

Justin Hilander You can see in the vid my axle plate is tapered inward allowing threads to show. I’m not sure if yours also has that. I just grabbed a nut in my box of bolts that happened to fit lol. You can use any nut

I’m no rocket genius but had you taken them all off and bought a large sheet of wrap you could’ve made that clean

Revolving Garage definitely but if you had a bigger piece and your friends holding it while you applied some heat and the stretched it you coulda got the whole piece done at once
