Vitamin D Deficiency: About the Causes, Symptoms & Solutions with Dr. Rowley
Vitamin D plays a crucial role in keeping our bones, teeth, and muscles healthy and according to the experts, it’s possible to get enough of the vitamin through sunlight alone during the brighter months (from late March to the end of September.) Still, it’s estimated that about 1 billion people worldwide have low vitamin D levels with common symptoms of vitamin D deficiency including fatigue, muscle weakness, and bone pain.
This video will cover the topic of vitamin D deficiency including causes and how to correct vitamin D deficiency. To navigate to specific points in the video, see below:

@@Epica1337 good to know. My symptoms started suddenly like panic attack. Within an hour, I needed an ambulance. I live in Germany. Less sunlight and covid lockdown for over a year are the main culprits
My lactose intolerance definitely played a huge part.
For the last year, I’ve been getting sick more frequently, I got costochondritis and tenosyvonitis diagnoses, found it incredibly difficult to get out of bed or stay awake, and had frequent low moods. I went to the doctor for back pain and they suggested a blood test, lo and behold, I now have a reason for all of my health issues 😅
I got vitamin d deficiency when my dad left to get cigarettes and milk when I was a kid. We never got the milk that day, but on a positive side my lungs are crystal clean.

I just discovered today that my Vitamin D level is only 13. Thats why I am having a very painful muscles and joints.
Thank you. Vitamin D deficiency did a number on me. Sadly mine wasn't caught in time and some of the bad effects can't be helped by correcting my vitamin D. It's upsetting that over the years no doctor had brought the issue of vitamin D deficiency up to me considering they knew my lack of sunlight and other issues related to it. I had no idea the issues I suffered later were due to it until I started doing my own research. I'm trying to regulate a proper amount now but am still unsure how much my body is actually absorbing vs releasing, and I fear going overboard with too much so It's just a gamble at this point. I suggest for anyone who is stuck indoors or anything else related to causing D deficiency, to get it checked early, and to always do your own research to catch what your doctors miss.

Hi there. It is recommended that if you are using food supplements such as Vitamin D you should not take it alongside any caffeinated drink. The caffeine can interfere with the vitamins absorption to your body. If you take any vitamin supplement, take them with water and do not take them with your morning coffee. There is no indication that drinking too much caffeine further inhibits vitamin absorption. So, you can drink away with your coffee/tea as long as you don't exceed the recommended healthy amount which is up to 400 milligrams (mg) of caffeine a day.

20 is considered low but not low enough to qualify as a deficiency so you’re just “insufficient”. The normal range for vitamin D levels should be anywhere between 20-60. I am not a doctor but my recommendation is to research how much you may need depending on height and weight. Also if it’s concerning as from a symptomatic stand point then you should follow up with your doctor and get advice.
