What is the flooring made out of and can water and snow take an effect on the under carriage?

This is by far the best teardrop trailer I’ve ever seen. The outdoor kitchen set up is fantastic. Having an ac Unit and a propane furnace is also a must have. It also seems to be very roomy inside as well. This trailer is just the coolest thing I’ve seen. I really want to get one! Thank you for sharing and great video! Take care!

I featured Camp-Inn on my channel. Vistabule and CI are both wonderful. We are fortunate to have 2 top choices. If you enjoy looking at fine cabinetry with thick clear coat while sitting in the camper, (definite I am inside feel to the interior) with 2 door windows that open, views on 3 sides, but the body windows (plexiglass) in my opinion don't provide much of a view, and do not open. The camp-inn might be for you. Plus 85 amp hour battery. Air conditioning strongly recommended but cant be added later. Suburban propane heater. Quartz lighting. Less storage space in my opinion. Bunk beds or storage shelves depending how you use them. Not being critical in any way - just stating the facts. But you can get some interesting goodies like hand rails on the roof etc. I showed them in the Camp-Inn video. If you want to look out at nature and want super ventilation 4 glass windows that open plus 2 ventilation ports, views on all 4 sides (definite I am outdoor in nature feel when curtains are open) Vistabule might be for you. Plus 120 amp hour battery or lithium battery, air conditioning for me was not needed due to GREAT ventilation and being off grid a lot. Glass windows. But air conditioning or heat can be added after build if desired. Propex propane heater. LED lighting and lots more storage space in cabin and kitchen due to design. Also futon couch bed. Both use torsion bar suspensions. I love both trailers and both companies and people who work their. Prices are comparable. I don't see it as one is better than the other. The features appeal to different customers. You cant go wrong with either. Of course there are other differences too. I cited the ones that are important to me because the directly impact my camping experience and capability. Thanks for your comment. =Cosmo

I have watched this video probably a dozen times. It was The first one in your series that I watched. I have now watched all of them. Because of you I will be placing my order for a vistabule next year. I will be sure to mention your name. I have really enjoyed your series of videos and your detail to showing what you have in your trailer and your tips. I also love the fact that you show where you purchased your handy little camping items. Currently I camp out of my vehicle which has been working well for just me but quite often I would like to take someone else with me. I'm getting to that age where I need something a little bigger and to have a kitchen would be fabulous. I have watched literally over 100 videos of different campers, this one by far is the best one for my needs. This is going to be a very big purchase for me. I have one more year of payments on my vehicle and then I will be placing my order. Keep the videos coming. I really enjoy seeing how this trailer works and you do a fantastic job. It has gotten me very excited to own one. I am a huge fan and can't wait to see your next adventure!

Thank You Very Much Jacqueline . Its wonderful to hear from likeminded people who enjoy nature and camping. he trailer caused my camping to increase HUGELY which is priceless for me. I still car camp, backpack, mtn bike camp, kayak camp etc. But the trailer has really upped my outdoor capabilities (and I am just getting started). Like you worked the trailer into my budget which took some time (I don’t borrow money). But once I took delivery I was free of debt and could enjoy the trailer. I hope we have a chance to rendezvous on the road some time and compare while notes eating a delicious dinner prepared in the Vistabule kitchen! Next month I am going back to Assategue Island in Maryland and will be spending lots of time wandering the beach with the wild horses (if a hurricane does not force me to change to alternate plans again). I think your friends will be very fortunate if you invite them for a wonderful weekend in the outdoors. The best things in life are indeed free. =Cosmo

I should have gotten 1 of these but I got a Helio with a wetbath and internal kitchen instead..I must say having the wetbath is convenient as I'm living in mine this year..u winterize it and use a portable toilet 4 awhile..I still love your trailers tho!

We are fortunate to have almost unlimited choices to meet our needs. Small trailer like this fits in my garage and can get me into back country nothing larger could make it into. The front window has a thermal skylight shade that insulates for cold and hot. Vistabules are popular with people who want views on all 4 sides. They have 4 opening windows and 2 huge doors. When you open it up your more outside than in. Not everyone whats that. For instance Camp-Inn owners like the "inside" feel. You live out of a Teardrop and live in a travel trailer. Enjoy what you pick. My videos are agnostic and about the gear and experience of camping no mater what you pick! Ha ha ha. I agree. They are innovating quite a bit on the original 1930s design. They are always looing of improvements in design and materials. They put in a water pump that would be at home in a fire truck. It pumps water 10 feet with the hand sprayer. No problem taking a shower with that kind of pressure.

My wife and I are starting to think about these. As we watched the video we were thinking how do you take a showers when you are traveling? If you plan to eat out mostly can you use the rear space for something else? We live in Florida and the factory is far away. How do we get repairs/upgrades? We love the concept and could see ourselves doing something like this though.

Hello. I love my trailer - guess that shows on my videos. There are many solutions for no bathroom and shower. Obviously a ampground is a no brainer. I have my own solution I will be presenting in a video this summer. I prefer the simplicity of no shower and toilet. I was not sold on teardrops till I saw the Vistabule at their shop. I wrote a check as soon as I saw it. Yes you can get it configured however you want. It’s a custom build. Fortunately there is not much to go wrong (at least with mine). Couldn't really cook good on a windy day or rainy day too many flies and mosquitoes they make a lot of light trailer with bathrooms and shower and more room

It's really cool. Jiust curious, what is the lightest it could be with heat, air, and refrigeration? Green(dark) aluminum would be my preference to matrch my Jeep.

You've done a lot of nice work on your trailers in your designing process. I'm curious to know what this sealer chemical is and does it off gas? You mentioned something about it going from the CNC shop to the finisher shop and getting some kind of sealant. I need to know because I'm susceptible to chemicals and smells of chemicals.

What size is the bed? I'm so impressed that it can fold up into a couch!

Bed is a standard sized queen mattress. Bert Taylor the designer of the Vistabule made Futons at one point in his career. I wonder could this teardrop trailer be made a bit longer..although I'm 6ft 1in tall having 2 feet extra could go a long way especially for storage or add an up right refrigerator instead of a short ice bin..becuz you can run a Patriot solar power generator for your refrigerator..just an idea 💡

I didn’t notice any framing. Do the sides of the trailer have aluminum studs or is it just sheets of wood with an aluminum skin? I guess I am asking what is the structural integrity of the sides and roof. Thanks in advance!

Sheets of furniture grade ply dadoed and rabbeted then glued and screwed. If you flip it at 60mph you're going to put a really big dent in it but if a kid on a bike runs straight into it he's going to be the one with the big bump on his head.

How do you secure the ice chest? A sudden stop means a colossal mess on the floor

I have had my trailer since 2016 Had no issues with cooler (which in my case fits perfectly) spilling anything. or moving about. I have since moved to a DC AC Electric refrigerator ahich does not move either. For the fridge I put in spacers to keep the cooling vents breathing. SUBSCRIBE and see my other videos at kzread.info

Heck yeah....!!..🤔trolling motor on the tongue....pontoons....😏and a Honda generator ....!!..down the river she flows...😳....don't forget life jackets, lights, horn and a sea anchor....😅.....maybe even sails....😂....s.s. Cosmos.....

have you used a diesel heater i put one in a 35 ft camper used for year works great on ebay was 140.00 runs on 12volts and diesel 1/2 price of prpone

Thanks Michael. I have not tried a diesel. My trailer is so small I dont want to introduce another fuel. I can use propane for the stove and heat. Makes more sense on a larger rig with more room. I want to keep this rig as simple as possible. 𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕜 𝕐𝕠𝕦 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕨𝕒𝕥𝕔𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘! =𝓒𝓸𝓼𝓶𝓸 ✅
