Vistabule Teardrop Trailer for Sale (It’s sold.)-Full Tour

Our trailer has SOLD! In only a half hour, too. But here's the original description of this video: We hate to do it, but we’re putting our Vistabule teardrop on the market. We’re pricing it a bit high, and here’s why: There’s a 2-year wait for a new Vistabule trailer from the factory and it could be worth it to get your trailer now instead of waiting. After all, what is the value of your time? Secondly, the base price of these trailers has increased by $4,000 since she was built. Third, I’ve completed a ton of custom modifications to our trailer that increase its value somewhat. Sometimes it’s nice to own something that is absolutely unique. And lastly, we don’t NEED to sell it, so we’ll put it on the market and let it sit and just see what happens.

    The bloopers are classic, especially all the failed takes on the shelf. Has me in stitches. Brilliant spontaneity. Oh yeah, great camper! Stylish rims indeed! Top notch construction with efficient, aesthetic, minimalistic, and clever design elements. Not surprised they sell so fast. Love this one and it’s certain to be one to gage the rest when it’s time to buy one.

    I have an Aliner Classic Off-road and love it, but I see this Vistibule or Bean trailer in my future too. After you camp for a while you may figure out that you don’t need things like water tanks, toilets or even kitchens built in, but in this model it’s handy when there isn’t a picnic table or you just want to whip up a snack! Love it. And ladies who think they can’t live without all that stuff, I recommend that you rent something first, then decide what you value. Some of those “must haves” you thought you needed are not worth the trouble, cost and maintenance required.

    The bed is a little smaller than I had heard in other videos. Usually, it's said to be a full queen size, which is 60"x80" . That bed is just over 6 feet. (73") At 6'3", it would be too short for me, unfortunately. Nicely designed teardrop, though.

I hope to make more of them but I need to focus on healing right now. Watch this video again and notice my dangling right arm. I love the exterior more than any other teardrop trailer. The color is stunning. Vintage and classy. Stunning teardrop trailer. These are my Top 5 teardrops. How could I decide? 1) Vistabule 2) Black Bean 3) CampInn 4) High Camp 5) Escapod Topo 2. Geeze. They're all so different. All are excellent. Each has positives and negatives.

    Features and Price. I don't want a TV or a toilet etc, but I like nice touches, so I want a Vistabule. I like the Mood LIghting. If I wanted to spend twice the price, I might get the Escapod Topo. Lots of nice features, but not worth an extra $20k to me. Both of these are the least complicated and value packed without gimmicks.

    Without recharging the battery at all we have easily gone 5 days with a 115 aH battery (or was it 105?). If we were being careful, we could easily go a week. If you don’t need to sell it. Why are you? Pretty pricey for a bed on wheels

  • @SteveMacDidThis

    @SteveMacDidThis

    3 жыл бұрын

    During the pandemic the value went up, as did the wait time for a new one. We sold it for substantially more than we paid for it three years earlier. I explained some other reasons in the video. The price was obviously right based on how fast it sold. There are a lot of more expensive teardrops out there, less expensive too. A “bed in wheels”? Did you miss the part about the galley? All of the storage areas? The water system? The electrical system? It’s a complete camping solution for us, and for the quality and craftsmanship in the Vistabule, I think it’s great way to go. If you’re happy in a tent on the ground, then that’s the way for you to go. We all put value in different things for different reasons.
