Visiting the Classroom Where Ruby Bridges Made History

Ойын-сауық

On November 14, 1960, Ruby Bridges courageously became the first African American student to attend William Frantz Elementary School in New Orleans. I’m sorry I have to be the one. Without Ruby and Brown VS Board that school would not be intergrated right now. So you trying to tell me Ruby gets a small statue that almost seems to the side or the back! It should have at least least been in the forefront. Like our many great racist military and political leaders. Such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, idc about Jefferson having a slave mistress and black children. All masa’s did. He still had slaves. To not believe in slavery is to not have any. Hell even Abraham Lincoln had slaves and he emancipated them. All I’m saying not to seem ungrateful. Is that Ruby Bridges could have had a bigger monument and in a better location. Such as the front. But I get it. She’s black. 🤷🏾‍♀️ new year and century. Same America. 🤦🏾‍♀️
