Civil rights icon meets marshal who protected her

Civil rights icon Ruby Bridges is praising a now 91-year-old former federal marshal for escorting her more than a half-century ago to and from a previously all-white elementary school as she helped end segregation in New Orleans' public schools.

Republicans elected their first three black men to Congress in 1869 and the Democrat's elected one 66 years later. The South went through reconstruction, Jim Crow, segregation. The Democrats fought and voted nay on every civil rights legislation brought forth by the Republicans. You believe that the Republicans did all this and then decided out-of-the-blue to change to the other side and all the haters on the Democrats side all decided to be not haters all of a sudden? You might not get it because we are not "hated because of a color." We are not hated by a color. White is not a human color. My point being, first white is not a pigment of melanin in human skin. Even if it were, Melanin "color" doesn't cause people to hate, or people to be hated. Knowing that, and understanding how white was a "classification," becoming a class of people within a caste system, we can start to look at the people involved, their manner, morals and culture; not their "color" as the cause of their hate.

Think about how cruelty to animals exists in the world, where some love, respect, care for, pamper and protect their dog or cat, but violently butcher the innocent cows. Good people feel compassion for their fellow humans AND other brother and sister family members in other species. But bad, demonic, arrogant, proud, envious people are accustomed to treating others badly. Because there is free will, these two kinds of people act out their inner desires. All acts performed by the living entity-(except those with transcendental results), are self-created engagements arising from an ABUSE of the FREE WILL. Such acts or engagements are never to be considered as if the works and the results were somehow ordained by the almighty Godhead. 🙏🏻🙇🏼‍♀️
