This watch is absolutely gorgeous. I think this will be my first Rolex. I perfer it to the day date all yellow gold even. I'm truly a sucker for genta watches.

This is my all time favorite watch I own, I bought mine from an AD a few years ago. I got if for an amazing price and whoever owned it before me must of never worn it. It came with everything that would of came with it when it was new plus a Rolex Warranty as well. I will never sell this watch.

Interesting. What battery does this watch take? Is that battery still used in current quartz watches or otherwise readily available? I saw an interview with a top watch industry executive where he says that an Omega quartz watch that he received in the 1970s and has retained as a keepsake is now completely useless because the battery that it requires is no longer made.

highnrising It will take both the 344 (1.5v) and the 357 (1.55v) Silver-Oxide batteries... widely available on eBay.

I always wanted to get this model bcos of the bracelet n case stype but the quartz movement just deter me from going for it as I fear the reliability n also whether will i have problem repairing it n getting the spare parts. I already own 7 pcs of the other automatic president models (1803, 18038, 18238,118238) which I feel its more reliable. But this quartz model is really very tempting ..

You will have no problems finding parts for it, also it s hybrid movement: part mechanical part quartz movement.
