Fun fact: this was designed by Genta, two years before he designed the Royal Oak. Of course almost no one ever talks about it. Just keep the myth of the oh so original Royal Oak alive.

As far as I know there were 1000 in total, 900 in yellow gold, 99 in white gold and 1 platinum version. All of them were only given to selected customers. And i have one.

Very interesting review! But how is it possible that the Beta 21 has a continously sweeping seconds hand and not a "ticking" one like an usual quartz movement?

Beta 21 movements use a tuning fork arrangement to drive the hands, so they don't "tick" like most quartz that followed. In fact, they're smoother in sweep than any mechanical.

correction : They where produced in limited number 1000 total estimates are 100-150 White gold and 850-900 in the Yellow Gold. Recently at auction a white gold one sold for over 100k.

I heard that the Texano comes in platinum, but only one.

But the bracelet is different than the white ones. I thought this band is fake as the other band are more folded and less massive can you please respond
