Can we take a moment and appreciate that this is the 1980s... Someone had to hold a big-ass vhs camcorder to record this.

Big hair. Big guitars. Big drums. Big amps. Banshee wailing vocals. Quality songs. Amazing players. Amazing playing. There will never be another decade like the eighties.

As overdone as the vocals and guitar playing are, you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone else capable of performing them. That alone makes it impressive to me.

If you weren't around in the 80s you wont get it. You had to be there to understand the nonsense. 80s were AWESOME! Here's to having to much fun.

It's depressing that this band didn't become a mega-selling big name of the 80s. Slaughter's vocals are AMAZING and Vincent's guitar is outrageously entertaining. This is fucking amazing, pure 80s over the top exciting stuff!

Wow, Vinnie actually played that solo, very close to the album. Also, Mark Slaughter nailed Fleishman's mile-high lead vocals!.

I saw Vinnie with KISS in 1983. It was my very first real concert. I was disappointed that Ace & Peter were no longer with the band, but was impressed with Vinnie’s playing. I lost interest with KISS around this point, so unfortunately I disregarded Invasion, assuming a similar style. Gene and Paul made a huge mistake limiting Vinnie. If KISS would have taken this musical route, I would have continued to follow them.

The backing vocals are so solid, they hold the band together. They sound just as good as a pre-recorded backing track.
