@@kodi0223 this turkey was definitely just curious and friendly, not trying to start shit. They are a lot like geese in that way, big and scary yet ultimately just curious. It's funny because if you watch vinny's goose game stream from a few years ago he hates them, but ever since he started hanging out with and feeding them, he befriended them. You really have to hang out with birds to get to know them. Turkeys, geese, even chickens, pigeons and ducks get a bad rap because they are super food motivated and want to be near you if you have something edible. This turkey likely just wanted to investigate if she had food or not.

Joel idk if you read these comments but I hope if you give cooking a turkey a second shot, you try this- Make sure you brine the turkey for 24 hours before cooking. Try to aim for a ratio of 4 liters of water to 500g of sea salt. You can add spices to your taste and brown sugar to help the bird brown in the oven better. Brining the turkey not only adds flavor but also helps the bird retain moisture when cooking. On roasting day, pat the bird dry with paper towels and use butter or olive oil to oil the skin. DO NOT STUFF THE BIRD WITH STUFFING. THIS IS A TRAP TO DRY OUT YOUR BIRD EVEN MORE. Preheat your oven to 230c and roast your bird for about 30 minutes then drop the temperature to 150c then roast the bird until you reach 65c (yes 65! I promise this will be okay) in the thickest part of the breast with a meat thermometer and it stays at that temp for at least 3 minutes. This should take at least 2 hours for a medium sized turkey but could be up to 4 for a large one. Take the turkey out of the oven and let it sit at room temperature for at least 45 minutes before carving. Yeah I know this is a lot in text, but it's actually less fussy than most other traditional methods. Most people overcook turkey and it turns out dry and worthy only as sandwich meat, but it can be truly delicious meat on its own when you cook it this way. I totally get saying fuck it and not bothering though I don't blame you. Traditional American herbs and spices for Thanksgiving turkey are thyme, rosemary, paprika, and especially sage. It's also common for American Thanksgiving turkey to include a citrus like lemon or orange. You can use whatever you like though. I hope you give it another shot some day.

Never do a whole turkey roast is the nr 1 tip. It's horrible, all the parts are ready at different temps and times. But then again, why even bother. If you don't grow up eating it, it really is not anything special at all I gotta say.

I kinda feel bad for small indie devs who have to either buy 3D assets online or do things PSX style. Cause I can totally see the struggle if you aren't able to make your own assets with the lack of artistic skills to do so, and especially if you have some sort of deadline. Sure, there's a lot of cases of developers creating some beautiful stuff even without being super good at art or modelling, but that's not gonna be the case for everybody.

The Swedish taco pie was basically invented when corporations started marketing tex-mex products in Scandinavian countries, and it got so hip and trendy in the 90s that people started doing taco-everything (I'm surprised we don't have Taco ice cream), which basically meant it had the store-bought taco spice mix in it. I don’t know what turkeys are like in real life, are they really aggressive? I went to an ostrich farm once when I was a kid, I’d consider the Turkey Tom woman’s reaction more reasonable if it was an ostrich relentlessly pursuing her. I’ve been to Australia (Perth and surrounding areas, so Western Australia) and I got to see a cassowary in a wildlife park. They honestly felt like they were one bad day from being a Jurassic Park velociraptor, and I made sure to avoid eye contact in case that would make them angry.

Turkey hens can get pretty agressive if they have chicks. Had the turkey in that vid been agressive she wouldnt have been able to constantly keep her camera pointed at it. An angry turkey charges at you directly and makes itself look bigger by puffing itself up.
