Thanks for that beautiful comment! I agree absolutely, Mario owns this song (like so many he sang). His interpretation is iconic, definitive untouchable. All you can do with material he touched is perform them to the best of your ability and enjoy the words and music and channel the joy you got from hearing Mario’s peerless renditions.
