I'm happy that people who wouldn't normally know about Vince are now experiencing his musicality as a member of the Eagles. Being an old guitar player I knew Vince was the real deal from the beginning.

I have yet to see a performance that isn’t improved, at least enhanced, by Vince Gill’s participation. 💖

Sting should or should have done a full tour with Vince Gill. Vince would keep Sting in line as Sting seems to over sing when he is solo. He sounds much better with Vince backing him up. Vince's guitar helps as well.

I agree 1000000% !!! Vince is an American icon !!!

Vince is perfectly happy as a side man or the go to guy either playing his own music or sitting in with one of the world’s best bands “The Eagles”.

If you can wear a plain plaid shirt or old worn tee in a big music event like this you are definitely an icon.

Beautiful solo by Vince. Great bass playing by Sting and his vocals are, if anything, better than on the original. After close to 40 years that’s damned impressive.

I loved when Vince looked at him and asked "can i call you Stang just one time?" Hillarious

In an interview, Vince said he felt over his head singing with Sting. He's also the master of humility. Superbly talented!!

I will put Vince Gill on my favorites.

Yes, Vince can step in with anyone & make it work, even Sting! He is like a fine sauce that somehow complements anything it's dribbled on! 🤗

As a performer, Sting has to be in love with how tight the band is on stage

There isn’t anything VG can’t sing or play and do a fabulous job. He is amazing.

This is rock and country royalty if there ever was! Respect!!

Vince can hang with any band any singer and he proves it all the time.

The only other person I know of who is both a great singer and a great guitarist is George Benson. Gill is one of the most gifted musicians popular music has ever seen.

Waaaah, I wanna cry... My most absolute favorite2x song. This is the first time I heard this song again for such a loooong time... Sting is the epitome of rock; and seeing Vince Gill do rock gives me goosebumps! His wife, Ms. Amy Grant was right. He can sing with any other artist. His voice just mesh really well with any singer. Vince and Sting sing together - its epic!!! Love it!!! More power to you both! 😍

Vince Gill is well recognized as a master musician and singer. Hardly underrated at all!

I always enjoy watching these "crossover" shows where a singer known for rock unites with a singer from country. I would have loved to have seen a show with Mark Knopfler and Glen Campbell or Roy Clark.

I love Sting, I love Vince, and I love both their music! I need more! This is wonderful! What a COMBO!

This is great. I remember going through my country phase in the 90’s and going to see Vince Gill in concert. It was one of my favorites. He had this special kind of warmth in his voice. I’m glad to see he’s still active.

I flew with Mustang for 2 years in the F-4 Phantom in VMFA-235 and love every minute of our flight time. Stang was a guitarist making his living as a fighter pilot.

Years ago I seen Vince Gill in Silver Springs Florida Live. He had 9 Guitars behind Him. He played Lead Guitar on every Song. The ABSOLUTELY Best thing I Seen in Person ever!

He has the trio, the song writing, the singing, and the instrument (in his case the guitar). He is great at all three and that truly puts him among the GOATs. So many don't realize the talent he truly has.

I get so much joy out of this, seeing them together.

One nice thing about Gill is it's always an honor for him to appear with other artists. I watched an interview where he said when the phone rings he always answers it. He's a very talented, humble guy who appreciates opportunities. No ego in him, just a class act.

Love this song and the voices

For decades I've known that Vince's talent is immense, and that is also true of Sting. I expected this performance to be expert, nostalgic and enjoyable--but this is so much more, and I'm impressed. Vince's fantastic all-pro band is in the groove, and the solos from Vince and Sting are so beguiling ... Sting seems to enjoy it and no one misses a beat when they loop around. I'll stop now so I can give it my undivided attention again :-)
