As an Arsenal fan, I can now understand why Vidic succeeded in the English Premier League with Manchester United - His mindset. He was focused (not getting distracted with social media), determined (he was an unknown player who wants to make a statement) and committed (the guy want to make the most of the opportunity offered to him). Him talking about football education, investment and family - as post football priorities made my respect increase for him. He is one of the best to ever rock the league.

A rare Vidic interview! The one we’ve been waiting for!
I'm an Aussie fanatical Liverpool fan for 45 years, now living in Thailand...but what a pair these two were. Probably haven't seen any better centre back pairing since them. Ste is definitely wearing depends here....dude prob came 20 times sitting between Vida and Rio during this interview.... I love the content Rio puts out too. I hated him as a United player. But as a man he seems like a good dude and the quality he puts out on this channel is great. He is always objective on his opinions (unlike Ste, who seems to think that anyone who hasn't played for United, probably can't lace their own boots...) and fair to opposition players - past and present.
I spent the whole interview with goosebumps. What a player Vidic was, what a guy he is now. Very thoughtful, funny, deep kind of guy. Well done for getting him on, easily the best interview on Five so far.

I started watching prem in 2004 as a kid and growing up I always thought the Rio Vidic pairing was one of the best. Vidic was absolutely fearless and would tackle anything. Great interview.
these are the two best mancheter united defenders when they became kings in england and europe.....i still remember 2007 to 2009 when manchester united won english three times and won the champions league in 2008...thank you legend... greetings from manchester united indonesia fans...

Hard to even argue with it tbh, most other duos come down to one player being better these two were in a league of their own AND a goated duo, Vidic without Rio or vice versa was still the same as John Terry with Gallas or the invincibles cb pair (I can't even remember them)
Absolutely mint you guys were the best on the pitch, and seeing you guys together again shows the love and respect you have, great content lads, never seen Ste so quiet and happy and Joe-L was all ears soaking it all up well done👏🏻👍🏻
