Honestly. Especially that part where he wasn't called for negotiation on a new contract, due to David Moyes being silly. While Rooney who still had 2 years was being called for negotiation. Also, the part they lost the second UCL final they reached to Barcelona. I hope David Moyes gets sacked at West Ham. I am so mad that he made us not to see or watch Vidic more 😭😭😭. To think he didn't even last long at United. VIDIC was right about Moyes not knowing what he was doing kind of!

@EVAA so true re Moyes. I felt the same with Mourinho and Ronaldo. Knowing he wanted to come back when still in his prime and yet we wait til he's coming to the end and bring him into a toxic debacle of a side to a new fanbase of haters. The drop from Vidic to Jones, Smalling & Co was immense. So glad we finally have a decent pairing again

Why Vidic is my favourite defender isn't just because he is an incredible player... but his personality screams to you even as a kid. I saw his love and strong, warrior mentality towards the club which clearly reflected him as a person and I will always love him for that. It turns out as an adult we are actually similar in terms of how we see things in football and life in ways but not entirely... and that may be because of me admiring him as a kid so much. Him, Nani, Wayne, CR7, Paul Scholes and Edwin are my favourite United players but I'm quickly loving Lisandro... and I'm glad Vidic see's him as a similar way.

Vidic is my favorite CB ever. Can proudly say we had the worlds best CB for a period and who was United through and through! That whole team!
Imagine if Vidic was a London-born englishman with his abilities! No matter what praise he gets, he is still seriously underrated, the likes of Jamie Carragher can sod off John Terry would've only been remembered for his dubious conquests 😂
I bet Ste's feet were kicking with excitement that whole time. Truly an epic show, thank you!

All these former United players interviews are mint. The long form format really makes a difference compared to a 10-20 minute interview you would see on TV. Keep them coming!
I was at Nemanja’s last game at Southampton away and you could hear the chants a few kilometres away from St. Marry’s. Being balkan born and raised as well I know his personality without knowing him. He was an example, a warrior and seeing how lowkey he is now is even more of an example. NEEEMAANJA, OOOH!
This interview gave me goosebumps. Vidic is one of my favourite players ever. Thanks for all the memories and what you did for the club.
I like how he's so down to earth and consistent with his points. We are privileged to see how is character off the pitch mirrors his astounding performances
Nemanja was the reason I started watching football and supporting United. People think I joke but it’s true. I once saw him play and was just hooked at him as a player. Controlled g aggression, skilled. And then I grew to love my team. Never stopped watching never will. Thanks for these two interviews Rio, Ste and Joel! 😍
Evra said it best "Vida, will never let the team down." The greatest compliment a captain can receive. Really enjoyed these 2 part videos. So many great stories and moments. They don't make them like Rio & Vida anymore. The Sir Alex phone call was the perfect ending to this..

Sir Alex’s voice 🥺❤️
What a man, his response to his greatest achievement was too real
When Ferguson told Rio how Vidic was exactly what we needed cause our other CB was useless I just bursted into laughter. I was not prepared for that comment :) As for Vidic, he is just a year older then me. I was aware of his greatness since he played for Red Star. I was so proud of him when he joined UTD. I could not believe that Sir Alex Ferguson would rate one of our players so highly that he would get him to come to United. From there on, even before he was known to the whole World I would say to anyone who ever made a negative comment about Vidic after a bad game that Ferguson knows better then "you" and if he brought him there "your" opinion is irrelevant. What a player he was. I am both sorry and grateful that he given us his time playing for our national team as our FA was and still is corrupt to the bone. Nemanja, kapiram da ovo neces citati, ali ako slucajno vidis, hocu da znas koliko si nam ulepsao odrastanje. Ogromno hvala za sve!
Thanks Rio, Ste and Joel, these 2 episodes were every United fan's dream. From the great Vida to the boss, it's nice to run down memory lane and to hear from the player who was in that situation's perspective. This was really dope. Appreciate you guys. GGMU 👹

What a bloody phenomenal 2 parter that was. Ste was WEAPONS GRADE FAN-BOYING and Kept smiling like he won a competition to be there!😂😂 I'm here for it, absolutely loved it man❤
Rio and Nemanja the best centre back pairing ive ever seen. You guys were the rock that gave the rest of the team the safety to go and win games. Fantastic to see you both talking like this it brings back very happy memories of you both for me.
Respect to Rio and Vidic for this interview. On their day, they were easily amongst the top CB pairing in the world. I will never forget the 2008 Champions League final in Moscow and their performance. Still hurts as a Chelsea supporter.
The 'big bang' was a Nemanja Vidic tackle. This meant so much to me bringing Vidic on the podcast ❤️ Thank you both for all the amazing memories, Hands down the Best Premier League Cb Partnership 🤝🇾🇪

This was an absolute treat! That 07/08 team.. no words! Cheers for some excellent content with these interviews with my childhood heroes and absolute legends :D The interview becomes even better when you realised that Vidic always looks past Ste and on to Rio for the intire thing XD
I bet parts 1 & 2 will do over a milli views. They don't make them like Vidiciii anymore. Y'all made my week!!
I genuinely think it’s the first time I ever listen to a podcast where Ste is as silent as a doughnut. Two absolute legend of the game, fantastic podcast, eager to see more of this. Keep up the good work lads
I've been listening to various football related podcasts for a couple of years but none of them was this much special. Thank you, Mr. Vidic. And thanks to FIVE for bringing this legend. I've learnt a lot from him in these two podcasts. Cheers.
I think everyone could see that you gave 100% legend ❤
Rio and Vidic simply poetry in motion
The way he answers the striker question shows how smart and how much he understands football.. Top video.. And to make ste laugh, maybe compare vidic's trophies to van dijk? Who can compare this two and think van dijk is much better for having just 2.5 great seasons.. The nerves
God bless SAF and his outstanding memory. I loved hearing from him there at the end. ❤
I love this guy, honest in his game honest in his opinions, it's easy to see why he was Captain!
This was one of the best football videos I've watched in a long time. Vidic has always been my favourite United player because of the 3 qualities that Sir Alex mentioned. Amazing to hear his opinions on various topics. LEGEND!!!
Obviously having Vida on here is beyond amazing, but to hear Sir Alex at the end there was magical. And what credit Vidic got from him, top podcast lads👏🔴⚪️
That first 30 seconds gave me goose bumps. Rio just casually on the phone to god

Thank You Rio for bringing Vidic for the interview. Lots of love from India. Vidic you are the best!
Vida was a hell of a defender, an absolute beast. I can imagine, Strikers in these days wear more than in fear to get his body bursting into them with flying tackles. So to hear his voice in that interview nearly shocked me for being so soft and nearly cute. But than seeing his glowing eyes and his natural presence during the conversations, in combination with this warrior-nose, lets me forget his voice pretty fast. I´m almost afraid of him for writing this! :D
The best football podcast on KZread! Thank you for blessing us with these two episodes 🙏 Vida is the prime example of what a captain should be in today’s modern game.
The only thing scarier than facing Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic was facing them when they were angry at each other. That's like facing a two-headed monster.

I was pitch side for one game years ago. Even from 20 metres away they were an imposing pair.
The best duo, vidic is a humble man
Ste was me the entire video. ABSOLUTELY GOBBED SMACKED. Great watch
