No Vandijk is litteraly better than Vidic in every aspect of the game, hes socred more prem goals, has a better tackle succesion rate, is far faster, far stronger, better in the air, has more passes and a better pass completion lol

No they compare Van Dijk to Vidic and there is no comparison. Nobody will ever reach Vidic standards of 2007/8/9 seasons. Van Dijk is way over rated playing in a protected era of football!

@@iprince7934 He's not even close. Vidic was just as good in the air, FAR superior in ground duels and his positioning and anticipation were possibly the best the Premier League has ever seen. VVD is one of the greats but there's levels and he's not on Vidic's.

Kompany is the best defender the PL has ever seen IF you judge on one season. Not a single defender ever came close to what Kompany did in the 2011-'12 campagne. Total domination. But when you talk about an entire career, Vidic and Terry stand out.

Torres only scored three goals against Vidić's Man Utd so that's pretty good or maybe I am mistaken? He made a mistake on one of the goals where he misjudged the distance and Torres scored which is sad but in 15 matches Torres only scored three times.

There will absolutely be another Vidic, he was amazing though, one of the greatest, but there will be another Vidic.

He was great but calling only him great is not fair towards Terry's intelligence!
