When Bale came to Madrid, he was the second best left winger in the world (behind only Ronaldo), but he had to adjust to playing on the right side because Ronaldo was holding down the left, and he did without a single ever complaint and reinvented himself as the second best right winger (behind only Messi). Rodrygo has to embrace his role as a right winger because even in the Brazil national team Vini is going to take the left.

Why would Rodrygo leave? 2013/14 season, Ancelotti played BBC with Di Maria in the same starting 11 by deploying him in the midfield. Bellingham is a natural midfielder unlike Di Maria. So why would Ancelotti not deploy same? Attacking; 4:3:3 and defending; 4:4:2 just like 2013/14.

He is not a better player than Alaba, Rudiger and Militao are kind of similar how they play. Luis is correct, Madrid will need to replace kroos. None of the other younger midfielders can dictate/control a game. Camavinga and valverde are box to box and tchouameni is holding midfielder who breaks up play and keeps it simple. To get the best out mbappe Madrid will need a Kroos replacement.

24:00 is a really good point. Kross passing has been essential in champions league. Carvajal down the wing getting the ball and stopping it with his chest to continue attacks by crossing or entering. Vinicius making runs inside the box. Kross is like Pirlo and there aren’t many of those players in football. The players are truly one of a kind.

As a Madrid fan I will love Vini more always. Seeing him grow from how far he was is amazing. This is still Vini’s team. He will still be the main man.

The pundits need to calm down about Rodrygo moving away. They’re not the manager or the transfer panel of Madrid. Don Carlo made a 4 man midfield work with no wingers at all. He’ll just switch back to a 4-3-3 with Vini Kylian and Rodrygo. Of course he gets to play. Real Madrid should really start experimenting with the amount of quality players they have. With the ball - 3-4-3 - Rudiger, Alaba, Militao in the back, and 4-4-2 without the ball, Alaba or Militao slotting into full back, Tchouameni slotting into CB, or Camavinga slotting into LB. They have all played these positions. If Pep can get his players to do play hybrid roles, then Don Carlo surely can. Also the good thing is, Real Madrid is now blessed with quality right-wing players, probably after Bale. Rodrygo, Valverde, Guler are all excellent in the right. Even Endrick.

Assuming Tchouameni starts next season is crazy. He’s a decent sub but starter? Not yet. Put some respek on Camavinga for Kroos’ spot. VMR up top, CBV in midfield, MAMC in defense, and big man between the posts.

The main positive about players like Mbappe and Endrick joining is that next year, with a packed schedule, we'll need them to step in. I don't foresee a big problem with players getting enough playing time, unless Ancelotti is very adamant about keeping the same lineup every game.

To me this isn't what the best player in the world does, Kylan had all those years in pig to help them win at least 1 champions league but he couldn't do it now he is going to the team the is the defending European champions and has the most europeans championships.
