I haven't played Bloodborne or Demon Souls but I still tried this test, I realized that the ones I thought were Elden Ring were all from Bloodborne, guess they give off the same vibes

Would be neat to include the boss phase as well. Would also be interested to not always statt at the beginning of the track, since that’s where most people’s memories come from, if they repeatedly die to the boss

It was fun for the ones I played, unfortunately I had 0 chance for the 2 PS exclusives. As for DS2 I'm gonna bite the bullet and finally play it but sure wouldn't remember the end credit even if I do 😅 Do it again with different tracks and maybe progress in the track a little as the likes of guardian ape's first seconds are repetitive so 15 seconds don't help much.

I feel for you even though I'm a console player :)

Out of the two games I truly cherish, DS3 and ER I missed only Rykard, my bad. DS2 was my first souls game and as many people I didnt get the hang of it (played 30 hrs not knowing how to level up and trying to pass the sea ruins and pirates cove beyond, you can imagine), dropped early. Very regrettably. Trying to play BB but always dropping, the game just doesn't click with me. Sekiro music ...well... not on the same level IMHO. But I must say, great editing ! Pauses where needed etc.

only got 25 right. I need to go replay them all

got every single one ahah! love it man!

I can't for the love of God remember any piece from Sekiro, but one I guessed. When old PTSD kicked in, I was like: hey, that's Headless.

Midir reminded me of Lorian and Lothric, never noticed the similarity before. Or maybe my brain’s just dumb

At first I didn't register the similarity between the motifs of these songs, but now that you mention it, they seem similar to me too.

got 29, missed only micolash, 3 yarnams, because didn't play bb, but know popular ost from bb, and missed MY NAAAAME....

Not enough ds1 ds2. The list was practically all bloodborne which half of us have never played. Thanks Sony.

True, I did this one oriented more on Bloodborne, Sekiro and Elden Ring. I have another Souls quizz that contains more DS.

Number 18 is from remake i think.

basically, it is in both the original demons souls (2009) and the remake (2020). I presented only the original version in the video.

It's not though. The only similarity between those two is the heavy emphasis on the Latin choir, the harmony, lead melody and rhythm are all different

Sekiro one's are aways harder. Sekiro's ost is way less recognizable, which doesn't mean bad, in fact some of the best music is on it, but it's no less... "Pop" so to speak

Basically, the sekiro is the easiest to guess because it has a strong Japanese undertone. But I know what u mean.

Elden Ring and Dark Souls 2 have the best themes out of all.
