Yes. And it should never have got this far. Heads should roll, and there should be an urgent inquiry. This decision has come far too late, and women have been impacted, and dreams have been shattered in order to accommodate this man in women's sport. His feelings were put in front of the rights of women. It has to stop now in ALL women and girls sport.

This should be stopped in all womens sports NOW! No excuses. Any women or girls that have been impacted to accommodate this man and others should be compensated, and heads should roll at the top.

Heard a disgraceful report today that the ECB had decided to let men cheat in women's cricket. They are going to be throwing a rock hard cricket ball at women batting at the crease at speeds unheard of in women's cricket. So much for cricket being a game of fairness. Women need to refuse to compete - all of them.

That may be the only solution if league officials don't have the intelligence to figure this out themselves. Ladies, just refuse to play against any team that has a man on it. Don't even bother showing up at the field .....and don't communicate this with anyone ....the league, the referees, linesmen. If they don't respect you ....then why should you respect them?? .

@@taxicamel It's not as simple as that for a lot of athletes. If you've got an athletic scholarship and you don't turn up to a match or a game or a race, there can be major financial implications.

Hailey wasn't "banned." Get your facts straight. He was told that he needs to compete in the correct category, the male category. He has plenty of opportunity to continue his career. Unlike some of the women he pushed off the podium and away from prize money. I wish him much luck and success in his career in the men's league.

Why are we even discussing this outside of the lunatic asylum.

The most sad and disgusting aspect of this whole issue is that we are being FORCED to "discuss it" in the first place. There is no discussion needed when a male-born body, that has gone through puberty, and female-born body, also gone through puberty ....in other words finished the growth period from a child to an adult ....the male body is from all the PHYSICAL aspects, is NATURALLY bigger, stronger, faster ...than the female body. So to have these two body types COMPETE against each other, is beyond silly .....and for ALL AUTHORITIES to be unable to identify that ANY kind of competition between these two body types is wrong .....merely means that every one of these "authorities" does not have the intelligence required to do their jobs......and should be removed for failing to do their jobs. Even today ....there are STILL men playing in women's sporting competitive leagues ....these are TEAMS .....so the women/females .....are OK with men on their teams. Considering one such sport being RUGBY .....there is something very odd going on here. I can understand women wanting a man on their team ....but I struggle with any opposing team being OK with this. .

This shouldn’t even be a question to complete with women. This should be common sense.

Shouldn’t they have their own tournaments, if they’re the third gender? It seems more fair.

There are some places where this has been offered and I remember seeing a video once where it may even have been implemented, they were not interested or refused to compete. They would have to face an equal competition and that is not what they want as they wouldn't be guaranteed a win. Of course there's the other reason where some want to compete with younger girls.

There are to few of them to form a own class/tournament. They could as an example not form multiple fotballteams to play against eachother. They just have to accept that when you transition competion against women is out.

Totally the right decision. "Biological Sex" and "Gender Identity" are TWO different things.

Men playing in womens Chess conpetitions is also wrong. Women's Chess is for WOMEN and I don't care if that makes men angry.

There should be mens, womens and an open category in every sport - trans people are not 'banned' from sport, they are more than welcome to compete in their own sex class or (where they are avaiable) in an open category.
