In today’s video we look at some Victorian books focusing on instructing people on the microscopic world. How to use the microscope, and what some things look like under the microscope. The illustrations are some of the most spectacular work done by Edmund Evans.

Thank you for this surprising look into another world within another world. The books as well as the illustrations are beautifully colorful.

:) Thank you for watching! Microscopes have been on my mind a lot lately, it was nice to explore them a little bit!
I found a copy of the Reverands book in color about twenty years ago and it's amazing...hand engraved plates.. I freehand engrave so it's a study...1861 copy
