I love how Albert is like she's letting him reform the whole palace, a big job for a king, an imperial palace with him in such a big role as it's head and she's like "well if it'll stop you from ruining my breakfast then yes.." like it was a small change 😂😂

One of the best things about this series is the sheer amount of chemistry between the actors. Not once do you see Jenna and Tom with [insert random baby], just a genuine family having a chat over breakfast. Such an underrated series....

Albert did get some pushback when he reformed things. It was especially so in the nursery, where Baroness Lehzen ran things.

The baby was like, "Yeah..." and death stare to him 😂

I love him. I love her. This tv series is absolutely the best. I thought that the crown is my favourite... But this one is very funny, interesting... Just perfect. Do they plan season 4? Or is it finished and breaks my heart? :(

A season 4 is planned but they are on a break right now so it will not be filmed for a while

THAT BABY IS THE CUTEST THING EVER!!!!!

This was a nice scene, But the real Queen Victoria didn’t like babies. She said they looked like “Frogs” But nowadays there are quite a few doctors who think it’s likely that she had Postnatal depression with all her children😢.

You are right, she didn't like newborn babies but she liked toddlers and older children. She liked all her grand babies and great grand babies even as newborn. That means she had postnatal depression. She had good relationship her children when they became adults(except bertie because death of albert) Queen victoria was very close to her all grandchildren (specially to hessian siblings after Alice's death). In a documentary one of her granddaughter said Queen victoria gave £1/per tooth to her grandchildren and great grand children when their teeth fall out.

Albert me fait penser à ma sœur dans cet épisode. C'est certain aspect de sa personnalité qui me font penser à elle. Aujourd'hui, elle m'a rappelé Albert,car elle disait ce qu'elle pensait. Aussi, je trouve que ma sœur sais se faire respecter et ne se laisse pas faire. Bref, elle lui ressemble .

A man had broken into the palace, probably easily cause the guard situation was bad, and watched Victoria sleep for a while. He didn’t have a weapon, but Albert was considering all the other possibilities of what could’ve happened.

@@leahryan5560 Wrong. He wasn't a man, he was a 14 year old boy. Nor was he "deported" to Australia - Australia had stopped being a penal colony long before that. He emigrated of his own choosing at age 25.

Anna Colb she wasn’t a big fan of babies. She called them frog like. True she loved her children but she had a low opinion of children. She is also known to have called her daughter Princess Alice a cow for breastfeeding and most famously came to despise her son Bertie over the death of his father.

She hated babies until they were about 6 months of age, which baffled Albert who couldn't understand why a woman wouldn't feel instant attachment to her own children. Modern psychologists believe she may have suffered from pre and post-natal depression. She was also incredibly jealous of the close relationship between Albert and particularly Vicky, but also the rest of the children who he doted on. She was aware to some extent that her feelings were irrational, but couldn't stop feeling them. Her journals are quite interesting!

Starfishturtle I highly doubt that. Given her how controlled her childhood was I don’t think Victoria’s mother would’ve allowed her to touch frogs.

They make her out to be a good mother in the show...in reality she hated every single pregnancy she had. She only visited her children to check up on them every 3 months...😒
