I believe they dated a bit off set as well. I never understood how actors couldn’t fall in love on set while doing such intimate things. GOD Bless You All. ✝️🕊❤️

My parents are German and their accent in English is way different then Toms but hes still really cute and a good actor

I've heard it said that it's easier for northern English people to put on accents than southerners, and listening to Tom Hughes and Jenna Coleman, I can kinda see where they're coming from. Tom's accent is SO close to his German one, and Jenna's is almost more neutral than an English RP accent (not to be confused with "English Posh")...

When does the next season start? I can hardly wait.

They were more hands-on parents than their contemporaries. Specially Albert. Victoria hated child birth not her children. Infact she was very close with all of her children accept her eldest son berti.

Tom Hughes looks totally different without the facial hair. I can tell it is the same person, but just barely.

Victoria did not like babies. Her diary of where she expressed her dislike. The PBS series is misleading. Its visually pleasing but not accurate.

Marilyn Pizziferri Well, yes. Queen Victoria did not like small babies/infants, and Victoria in the series also said all babies looks like frogs to her (right after Bertie was born), so that was in the series. However, in real life, Queen Victoria did like children that had passed the infant state and as long as they were well mannered. She was almost obsessed with her youngest child, Princess Beatrice, for example. You can also tell Queen Victoria liked children by what kind of grandmother she was. She might not have been a great mother but she seems to have been a very devoting grandmother, caring a great deal about her grandchildren, which you can tell by reading letters she has written.

That is true the Queen disliked children, she got on better with her grandchildren. Indeed she enjoyed the personal time with Prince Albert, and it was a shame there was nothing to prevent baby after baby. Good Lord child baring must have been unthinkable. Perhaps personal time would have been put on the back burner for me.

@@einezcrespo Not just poor hygiene but to all the dangers of birth itself. Like hemorrhaging and breech births, all those still kill women today but yes infection did kill

Victoria was actually quite attractive as a teenager and in her twenties. She wasn't a raving beauty but she was reasonably pretty, with large blue eyes, long light brown hair, a pink and white complexion and a sweet crystalline voice. It wasn't until she was in her thirties that she started to pile on the weight.
