He’s one (if not the best) when it comes to just wear the microphone, when he does the chorus, the microphone is nearly his stomach.

This back and front vocals blends with the lyrics, I mean, When he does it soflty the meaning of the lyrics are saying "I give up, I loose, I give in, I'm dying to go back" so to say, and when he makes it sound stronger he's saying "I'm going crazy, I'm tortured, yet I know how to loose" so, if you know the lyrics you get more the feeling of it, great review! You may already know, but we lost "El Rey" Vicente a few days ago. The Mexican community is grieving his loss, we listen to him for EVERY celebration, loss, major event in our lives. I enjoyed your analysis. The translation was NOT even close. It's difficult to translate Ranchera music it is all soul, and feels. He is basically grieving the loss of the love of his life, and begging to return even if it kills him to lose her again.

Yes! I would like to add to your description that mostly this kind of music genre is very soft but so powerful at the same time. And mainly because ranchero/mariachi has this characteristic to be “nostalgic”, that's the reason that it sounds in some parts like “crying”; you would hear that when the artist is singing something related to love, heartbreak, happiness, or just life. “El Rey” (The King) is another great song from him, a part of the song goes like “I don't have throne nor a queen, but I'm still the King”.

Vicente Fernandez or "Chente" as he's called, is the King of Mariachi/Ranchero music.

No one can put this much emotion in a sont like him.. you dont even have to understand what is being said.. you can feel the pain in the song. It's a sad but beautiful song.

At 6:43 it’s called, “Grito Mexicano”, I do it when I’m happy and I feel euphoria at an instant. In person it gives a person chills but the good type.

I have noticed that a lot of Latin American songs (pop) can start with a low head voice that gets brighter slowly and then crescendos into belting. In mariachi, it’s a mixed voice that shifts from low larynx to brighter belting with falsetto. I am a fan of both styles.

Definitely you need to react to a singer called Luis Miguel la incondicional live version 1994 that performance is very legendary. & he is a legendary singer in Latin America! His live performances are once in a lifetime talent #luismiguel he’s very well known in Latin America 🇲🇽🎤
