He probably figured Erik would break something (like a fence) with the equipment. Accidents happen. He may also be a firm believer in the adage “You get what you pay for.” Might have big gouges in the land making future mowing impossible. You have to remember, this gentleman doesn’t know Erik and doesn’t know that he can and has mastered his landscaping prowess. He was expecting mayhem but got mastery.

Amazing undertaking! Y’all worked wonders on this property. But please, please, ALWAYS wear eye protection! I have a very dear friend who did work such as you do and did not wear eye protection, and one day-a freak accident! Something hit his eye, and he’s had to have multiple surgeries and his eye has never been the same. He has suffered tremendously and his life is forever changed. So I ask you please, always wear eye protection. God bless you for all you do. Keep up the excellent work. So proud of you both! ☺️

You and your Son did a fantastic job.

Great job! This guy has a great property. The garden area is a great size. Now he can grow the stuff he likes. With the price of food every bit helps. What he doesn't use he can sell. Everyone loves homegrown. I would have to move the table and chairs near the house. You have to have someplace in the morning to drink your coffee. I bet when he looks out now his heart is a lot lighter and remembers why he moved there. I bet he is doing other things he wanted to get done now so you helped him in more ways than one. God bless you, your family and the ones you help. The lights are cool. Especially the curtain one.

ANYONE in their right mind should be GREATFUL for FREE HELP! No one does anything for free now days! You and Landon are AWESOME! Keep up the good work guys!

Wonderful work you two as always 😊. That’s what my 90 year old mothers property in the back looks like. Totally out of control. We paid a gentleman to clear .He did about a 3 foot strip and never came back. Everyone should have your work ethics.

JLF, many disabilities aren't apparent. The issue of "visibility" is a constant battle for some disabled people. Strangers will confront them, kids will vandalize their cars for parking legally in handicap parking. They get kicked out of restaurants with their service dog, or confronted by employees in a public store. Please, "don't judge a book by its cover." Conditions like multiple sclerosis, orthostatic hypotension, epilepsy, heart disease, chronic pain from many causes... all invisible to the layperson. And Erik wanted to help this man, regardless. He's an angel, and his son is an angel-in-training. :)
