Say what you like about these things. Been on bikes since April 1985, big bikes very often, and never had a scooter although I always liked them One of these 300 models would easily get me to buy one. That's why I'm watching videos of them.

Great video, but I have to correct you on the price of the Royal Alloy, I am getting a GP 300 in March the price is cheaper than the vespa GTS 300, in the dealership the vespa is over 6k . I had one in 2017 but couldn't get on with it, even though it was fast I didn't like the suspension on the vespa. Keep up the good work 👍🇬🇧

Thanks for your comment bro, I’m glad you got one cheaper, although I’d choose Vespa even tho it’s more expensive. But royal alloy looks great too and it uses Vespa engine

I have a 1962 Vespa Gran Lusso. I am not a luddite, 4 strokes, fine, autos, fine, but l draw the line at plastic. These things are not going to grow old with you, you can't pass them down, they are not infinitely repairable. Add on a name plucked from thin air to resonate with some and tbh l think we are being had, at anything more than £3.5 we definitely are being had. Tbh l wouldn't be seen dead on one.

If you can manage living with the looks of a GTS they’re a well made scooter. Too ugly for me. RA all the way

I dont understand why people pay so much for RA scooters when you can buy a PX which is manual and 2 stroke (a real scooter) for around 2k! Saying that you can buy an actual 2 stroke Lammy for the price of a new RA!

I just dont like how fat the RAs are at the back. Or the fact they’re 4 stroke and auto. Reminds me of my sisters Honda Melody back in 81!
