The RA GP300s will pull way harder than a GTS300 HPE and they look way better too.
I dont understand why people pay so much for RA scooters when you can buy a PX which is manual and 2 stroke (a real scooter) for around 2k! Saying that you can buy an actual 2 stroke Lammy for the price of a new RA!
I just dont like how fat the RAs are at the back. Or the fact they’re 4 stroke and auto. Reminds me of my sisters Honda Melody back in 81!

Great video! Enjoyed it immensely. I’ve ridden motorcycles for 40 plus years and am contemplating a Vespa. I currently own a VStrom and a 1977 BMW airhead. I’ve always worked on my own bikes and I do like the older bikes. I’m thinking about a two stroke manual Vespa, could you suggest a year and model range to look at? Any suggestions in what to look for would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again! Joe
Thank you very much for such positive comment, really appreciate that. 40 years as a biker, wow that’s a lot. You have more experience than any of us here. As for two stroke Vespa, I believe PX is a good choice, very popular scooter and lots of spare parts ( you gonna need those for sure lol ) myself I enjoy auto scooters a lot and manual is not for me. Although a lot of riders are the opposite and love manuals only. Also BMW airhead what an awesome bike. Wishing you all the best

I have commented to you before. Above... I renewed the antifreeze 1 year ago. I make additions from time to time. When I just checked, it's at max level. I don't use Vespa right now. The weather here is snowy and rainy. I will only provide electricity in December, January, February and March. Do I still need to check antifreeze? Or what should I do? Thanks
Genuinely the antifreeze should be changed every two years, obviously keep an eye on the level more often.

Or,....... Piaggio could have dipped the monocoque in a galvanizing tank before primer and paint. But hey, that takes time and money.

I’d choose a PX over a modern GTS any day. Keeping it old school. Vespa has lost Vespa by becoming too modern as I’m concerned. Brilliant channel and content. Cheers!

Thanks for the video. It helped me figure out how to remove the rear clad/cowl/fender. It would have been helpful to identify which bolts needed removing and that the latches for the side panels needed to be removed too. I might do a video that shows more specific details to help others do it.

my wife and myself both got vespas .i am now 74 she is 72 .we ride together locally round the quieter roads , if there is such a thing these days .have had big bikes all our lives ,but are enjoying these while we still can . i also own a honda sh 125 i which is only a few weeks old . the vespas are gts300 70 reg, and primavera 50 ,21 reg with different e c u ,will cruise about 37 m p h .

Great Vid as always Lad! I tried really hard to ride these Chinese New Vespas but the motors are way too low powered for me and the riding position is lady like Couldn't do it m8! My real Lambretta 64 GT is far more my taste. Especially now with it's total conversion done it destroys motorcycles lol

After years of riding 1 week out of the month and repairing the shitty Italian wiring and motor design constantly, I finally built a custom hand made electric hp motor in my Lambretta 64 GT200. Best thing I ever did. 0-100 kph in 2 seconds, 415 nm of torque instead of the measly 9 hp before, range of 420 kilometres per charge REAL WORLD mind you, with my 110 ah Li Titrate fast charge Battery, 12%-95% 12 minutes on standard Household plug, top speed of 170 kph without even a bead of sweat, 41% climbing ability meaning uphill at 70 kph no problem. 72v 8 kw motor system, nope the right way to bring scooters forward is to dump all these Chinese style re "designed" Vespas aka Chespas and plastic Lambrettas and simply update your real Vespas and Lambrettas. The Actual Scooters them selves Vesas and Lambrettas are incredibly well designed. Their electrical and Motors rubbish as flat chested porn starts. There are literally millions all over the world doing nothing. Put better motors in those instead. Royal Alloys and Scomadis look fantastic but poorly made motors and underwhelming performance sadly. 73-2002 rode 2 stroke Petrol the whole of the time. All of Vespas and Lambrettas were completely original with some basic upgrade mods, but now that I do';t waste y time suckingpetrol, breaking down, throwing cables, replacing motors I saved tens of thousands and now ride all over North America thanks to my conversion so. Top that!
If you can manage living with the looks of a GTS they’re a well made scooter. Too ugly for me. RA all the way

@@VESPAUKofficial - Ha ha, luckily down South here in Melbourne, the spiders are not too much of a problem (much worse up North in Queensland). And yes, much milder winters here than you guys get in England, we can ride most of the year round - just too hot sometimes in Summer 😂
