That's the bitter fact of Indian IT industry. Here hardly 1% people above 40 age have actual skills. They mostly survive based on relations and office politics.

Thank you for this video...I have also faced this issue when i was working for a turkish based transport company here in my country. The salary was good but the work being done there was not relevant to the market. I worked there for 4 years and now i feel it was such a bad decision to remain sitting at the same place... These days i have completed 1 year in a new company and i have started feeling that i am not doing the kind of work i should be doing...this video has given me a wakeup call to lookout for myself.

I read comments below and found that people are scared a lot ... What to do ..what to learn .. Because you forget basic things ...a lot of technology there" choose one in which you are intrested ..do not run after money " any compny will hire you at low salary and you will enjoy the work as you are intrested in that tehnology,keep your expenses and liability low dont run for show off... Bada admi bnna h to business risk lo .. Job is for survival not to get rich

The worst mistake i have done is after preparing for other field jobs for around one year , i had got a frontend developer job in an ed-tech company after completing their training course in same company and after some months, I was given a non technical role which made me leave the job without any other job in hand. Now, I'm preparing for data science field since last 5 months and also, now getting the fact that there's no job for freshers in this field. So, i am jobless basically.😐

@@seekertruth72 I only regret of leaving the past company though i was later offered a role which wasn't interested at all. Now, after seeing the competition not only with freshers but also, with the experienced people, i am quite demotivated😅. So, I'm confused right now whether i should try some python web development side by side and later, make a transition. Any suggestion ?

@@ketankumar5689 stick to python web development. Non technical job any one can do but not everyone can do python dev. Today with digital and social media, 5g, ecommerce there will be lot of scope for web development. Dont worry about competition it will be there always. Develop technology skills rather non tech You will get opportunities to start up, small companies and compensation will improve

It is a wakeup call for me personally. I work for same job for 2yrs. Now i'm really clueless what I learnt. I don't find my exact strength for showing to the world. Each day i am trying to work good to complete my work. It seems something i'm learning everyday but not completely sure about destination for career goals. It is simply i don't get an idea till now. Is there any course do you have for developing ourselves in IT industry?. please suggest.

Anand, I could relate to the scenarios that you mentioned in this video and i have seen those closely for my colleagues. Getting into Comfort zone vs Excelling into current profile, there is fine balance one has to achieve. If i want to summarize your video, then i would say ' Deliver Today but Secure the Future'.

I think if we have good salary mostly 24-26 lpa we should keep investing untill 40 and even if face any ussue like this we will have some fixed income

I have switched 3 companies in span of 9 months in my career. One is 2 month contract job. I got laid off from last company and im finding really difficult to get calls and get passed in interview. Im a quality analyst. What to do in this situation sir. I only have total of 9 Months experience and i wanna stay long period of time in a company

Depends on a lot of factors. But my personal choice would be Software. Because I would not be good at hardware support role. You may select based on your interest, background, perks etc
