Yep i bought a 2020 RST Z71 and it’s an absolute head turner. People need neck braces after it drives by. Love the truck

How do you listen to the radio without having to turn on the truck, I like to jam while I clean my vehicles? Mines is the red hot LT and I love it.

Does the quality of plastic increase on the HD? I have a 2014 Texas addition 3500 and compare it to our 2013 HD 2500 that we have. You can tell the difference on the interior and especially on the door handles. On my Texas addition, I had to replace the door handles, which is very poor quality. Is there a package difference on this quality?

I went with an f250 because of that. The prices of lite duty is too close ...for a 19 f250 CC Lariat diesel I gave $61k and it’s a heck of a machine. I would have gone Chevy if they had updated their HD’s lineup ...next year they will. They were missing so much stuff. I average 17 roughly on my 2500 miles so far on my 250 diesel.

Andy's Shop I’m not really interested in what some people want or need. I just stated that because it makes sense. About 20% of truck owners actually NEED a truck the size they drive-that’s not for me to say what they do or don’t need.

Trucks this year took a 4.2% price increase. Assume at least the same for the HD trucks.

I like the exhaust pipes coming out the side than the back.. GM should've made them come out on both sides.

I love my 05 Silverado ls... fully loaded xm radio, connected center console, Bose radio....$37000 for ext can sportside z71. ... big gap for today's LT vs LTZ $9k for connected center console????

Not just that. LTZ ads many more features including but not limited to: navigation, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, power up down tailgate, led taillights, bsm, active safety features, wireless charging, leather, and the list goes on...

LT looks good but I would go with the LTZ. More features, needed for a multipurpose truck.

Chad thanks for the review. On the LTZ the dual chrome tipped exhaust only comes with the Z71 package. Believe me I spent 2 1/2 hours with my dealer going over option codes and packages special ordering my LTZ.

Yes I probably do have tons of bloopers, but most of the time when I screw up I just cut it out the video. This time I just left it in lol. So many people on KZread give me crap about my videos from time to time. If every review was perfect it would take away the realness that I enjoy showing my viewers. Of course there's always room for improvement and more knowledge of product, but if I waited to be the perfect car reviewer I'd still be reading a article or studying a website and not filming the vehicles.

One thing about chevy is I still havent found a comfortable seating position while driving, telescoping wheel isnt that great wish wheel and column was independently adjustable and the brake pedal is way too offset from gas pedal, it's like 2 inches closer which idk, makes it lil tough to get comfy with both pedals........but truck drives very nice and has excellent vision.....my last truck was 2005 so big change.......and I love the new styling on exterior, I know alot dont but I think it's best looking truck on market........and it was very "stiff" new but now is softening up a bit 2k miles later.......my pkg is between a ltz and lt, have RST all star conv 1....wish I would have sprung for conv 2 and got bucket seats tho.... Love enthusiasm Chad, I thought you were a salesman for that dealer, lol

You can get center console on the LT. It’s part of convenience package.

Am sure spoiler works for gas mileage but stuff will still fly out, had it happen going 30-40mph and bag just zoomed right out of back....saw it in rearview mirror after home depot run so yeah can just throw anything back there

I own an LT with z71 they both can be equipped with it

man usb C is awesome..... I just picked up a 2018 LT Z71. I wish I had a few of the new options.

Actually, the base seating in an LTZ is a bench in the front and you can get a consol on the LT if you get the convenience 2 package

@@sethbob5742 Mine was a POS. The engine and transmission were great but I had rattles that the dealer couldn’t seem to fix and if you tow anything heavy the 19 and up truck squat really bad compared to the 18 and older ones. I traded it in and got a 20 Ram Limited.

How do you unlock the spare tire?

What is sad is that the Silverado (and ALL Ford, Ram , Nissan and Toyota trucks and SUVs) has a driver side A-Pillar handle but it's not on the Suburban and Tahoe.

I hate those chrome bumpers why do they not offer body colored bumpers on the LTZ?

OOHH WOW. IVE ALWAYS THO ABOUT THE OUTLET ON THE BED YEARS AGO ASKING MYSELF WHY THE HELL THEY DIDN'T MAKE THEM LIKE THAT AND LIGHT ALL OVER THE BED. TRUCKS ARE FOR WORK. AND THAT HELPS ALOT.

The lt also gets an extra mpg because is a 2wd

HD would be a better move. These light duty things drop value fast! Ford too. Check out how much an f150 or Chevy 1500 drops. Like pay $50k in March and drive 21,000 miles and it’s trade in falls to $30k IN LESS THAN ONE YEAR!

Chad, I spend the extra money went with the Chevy Traverse LTZ got all the bells and whistles on it didn’t like LT they showed me.

It’s a great video I just bought 2019 LTZ. Traded in my 2013 tundra. Very happy with Silverado Had a 2000 Silverado miss it

Your right, they only use Premier and still using LTZ on their higher end trucks. I read a couple years ago they were going to discontinue LTZ for Premier but the article didn't state that it was only cars.

More leather and comforts than most people have in their home. No wonder these are so expensive.

Ltz has 20” rims LT gas 18”. At least in your video

No a fan of the new Silverado so I picked up the AT4 in blue with the 6.2L!

@@CarolinaCarVideos I think a 30 minute video of the Ram, F150, Silverado/ Sierra all side by side would do wonders. Break it down into a series where you do the exterior, interior, towing numbers, power numbers, and test drive. People are going to buy what they like anyway but but it should cause a royal rumble in the comment section which should equal more views and subscribers. Just a thought but if it is an inconvenience or not worth it then forget about it.

thats a great subject you bring up! $1000 is equal to about $20 in payments. So $100 higher payment is worth around $5000 more in price. So wow $700 more in payment is a pretty large difference in price between the two.

Juan, I would not want to just throw a figure out there. The payments range on interest rate that you will receive due to your credit score. Try Googling Payment Calculator and you can play with the number on there. Term is the Months. Most people are doing a 60 month loan on there cars. people that want lower payments do 72 months, but that causes the rate to be higher and thats a long time to have a car payment for.

Why would you choose a low level grouping LT and compare it to a high level LTZ? There are only a handful of options you cant get on the LT that you do on LTZ. Power folding mirror, vented seats, 6.2 v8.

I'd say that sounds like a great deal, but you can always go to Edmunds website and see what the dealer costs are for the new trucks. Of course the dealership should make some profit, but you should also get a fair deal.

It’s hilarious that these people take these trucks off road. These trucks are so luxurious and very expensive why would anyone want to ruin them going off road.
