Hi MAMO - thanks for taking us back to school with these neat vintage Venus pencils! Was fun to see these and the colors are very vibrant. The pencils made for beginning writers and also nice for us older kids who like a heftier feel when gripping the pencil. I find the paper used in some of those handwriting tablets to be a little pulpy, which impacts the true tone of the graphite. Fun review! Love seeing all these vintage pencils in action!

I feel the same about larger pencils: for me, the mini-jumbo is the sweet spot.

The Red & Green Diplomas together would make a great vintage Christmas gift. Great review.

Grade school paper and fat pencils. I do remember having some like these. Thanks for sharing and take care

The colour saturation in these Diplomas is fantastic. Hasn't aged at all either. Treasures, the lot of them! 🤩 The beginner writer paper pad is biased for sure, it takes away the darkness from the pencils. Still, within its context, the Diploma seems a bit softer than the normal Ticonderoga but lighter than the Patriotic Semester, which I remember someone mentioning is a very soft pencil.
