Universe 6 Sayains are even worse. At least Goten can be justified by his father achieving super sayain before he was born, which could have activated some genes or something to make it easier for him. Also, half-sayains tend to have an easier time acheiving super-sayain for some reason.

Wesley Bradshaw they said in the show that the universe 6 saiyans have been ready to transform for a very long time by then and as we've seen in the show it is easier for saiyans to do something once they've seen it. The U6 saiyans had never even seen or heard of super saiyan until that point so goku showing them probably made it way easier to learn.

I understand your second point, but I don't recall any mention of them really being ready for it before-hand. I mean, there is no content showing the U6 Sayains undergoing the hardships or intense training that the U7 Sayains went through. I have a hard time believing that the base power level (pre transformation) of shy and timid teenage Kale with no battle experience, no major hardship (like what Vegeta has endured, for example), and no intense training could one-punch kill battle-hardened Vegeta let's say Namek saga phase in the show. I mean, they (Kale etc.) never even had a significant zenkai boost in their power as far as the story has shown, yet they can keep pace with Goku and Vegeta after everything they've done. Since all U7 fighters only recently achieved their power levels, if the tournament of power had occurred ten years earlier, U7 would have been wiped out in 5 seconds flat. Their strongest members would have been Freeza and Goku, with power levels around 250-300 million. A single fighter from any universe would have one-shotted the entire U7 team at once lol. I am assuming that the power-levels of members of other universes has been more consistent over time, which is in line with what we have seen in the show. Take Jiren for example - he is like a thousand years old. Or was that Hit? I can't remember every detail lol.

Wesley Bradshaw I take the U6 saiyans transforming the same as goten and trunks. Goten and trunks had very little experience but somehow managed to transform just by being around other super saiyans so to me it makes sense that the far more experienced U6 saiyans would be able to achieve the same thing in a smaller amount of time especially with goku trying to teach caulifla how to do it. In the case of kale that's basically them creating a canon version of Broly which is why she's basically a carbon copy of him in every way aside from the gender.

The story of how Vegeta became a Super Sayian teaches a very valuable lesson. When you have a great goal in life, keep going because just when you're about to give up on your dreams, your goal was just one step away. Plus he's a half evil badass so that just makes his story even cooler.

But then it implied his strength to greater heights than Goku since the Super Saiyan forms give out a 50x multiplier. Goku had a power level with 10x Kaioken the amount of 1% of Frieza while before that Vegeta was behind until after being resurrected . He could have had the power to then stand a fight against him even if not a Super Saiyan...

Vegeta has always been my favorite character, but we all need to thank Goku for that. Goku was the one who always brought the best out of Vegeta in every way. You gotta love what constitutes as "the simplest of moves" by Vegeta's standards. Damn, 450x gravity. Goku only trained at 100x gravity before arriving on Namek and shortly thereafter realizing his super sayain form. Vegeta's power level at the time of his transformation must have been much higher than Goku's when he transformed against Freeza.

Vegeta has always been stronger that goku, but the difference is that goku trained much more than him throughout a bigger amount of time. When vegeta was a kid, he did not train very much because he was born with 1000 ki, while goku only 100. When vegeta transformed into SS1 for the first time he was stronger than goku when goku transformed for the first time that is for sure. But sadly because goku is the main protagonist, he has to be stronger. I do have a feeling that vegeta surpassed goku in the SSBlue 2 form. And i think that if vegeta go to ultra instinct he will be stronger that goku. For me the only reason that goku is supposedly stronger than vegeta is because he has more ``techniques`` like genkidama etc....

Definetely one of Vegeta's most epic moments.

Vegeta has the best music for any character.

I think there's something to that not caring part. Most people say they don't care when they're really still concerned or disaffected by something and just depressed. Actually not caring is different. Its like being deep in meditation while you're awake. It's like balancing parts of your mind that you normally aren't aware exist. Truly ignoring something is like making it unable to touch you. It may as well not exist because you'll pay it no mind. It takes some kind of epiphany to get that feeling, and it does feel like an altered state.

Not even! Don't get me wrong I love Vegeta as character far more than Goku, however Goku has always trained and pushed himself as hard as Vegeta. Vegeta says it best at the end of the Buu arc. That Goku had born with a natural talent far above his own. Vegeta and Goku are equal in terms of ability and strength. Strength marginally going to Goku but only slightly.

This is exactly why Vegeta is my favorite DBZ character. Even though Goku is overall much stronger, Vegeta's strength and power comes from his ego, his will power, and his hardcore tenacity to never be left behind by those that he sees as lower than himself. I think that Goku is sort of relatable in a sense, but I love Vegeta's tenacious nature, and find this relatable as well.

rejvaik yea a lot of people don't really like super. The Buu saga was my favorite part of Z but at least for me there are a few good arc's in super. The goku black arc was very well made and well animated especially in the english dub and I'm looking forward to the USS because the animation in the important episodes of that arc were beautiful and the last 10ish episodes were just loaded with hype and amazing animation.

Yes and no. Vegeta is stronger by method and sheer will. Totally not talking power lvls. He has self drive which allows him to always be very hypercritical to a fault but it pays off.

The moment when Super Saiyan was actually SUPER Only a saiyan with extremly hard training and experience will achieve that level, not only because of tingly thing in their butt.

This is exactly what Dragon Ball super is lacking. In DBZ becoming a Super Saiyan was the coolest thing ever .However , in Dragon ball super the way Goku and Vegeta went to Super Saiyan Blue like it was nothing tough. Super was surely good but DBZ was Dark, emotional and unpredictable.

Vegeta is by far the the most developed thus the *best* character in the series, to me.

The definition of earning what you desire through sheer willpower and determination.

"When a violent electrical storm erupted in the skies of the planet I was on. I welcomed it. It seemed fitting. Like it was an outward manifestation of the storm that was raging inside of me." The original Funimation dub had some great choices of dialogue. This here is a prime example.

Vegeta *spends countless hours in gravity chamber and survives a meteor shower to achieve super-saiyan form" Kale: tingling sensation in the spine = super saiyan That is why i hate the current power levels in Dragon Ball Universe. Its getting ridiculous now.

DarkInvader if he trained at 400 x gravity wouldn't he be faster and stronger but he said it was hard to blow up the meteorite when he could've done it easy

TazyePlays lets say that Vegeta weight 100Kg x 450 Gravity = 45 tons (67,000 punds) is his weight inside that gravity machine. A rock of the height of a house of 2 floors weight like 300 tons.... i weight less than 100kg (220 lb) and i cant event destroy a rock of 1 gram so imagen that... but DBZ dont made to much sense in those things of the Khis and speeds... because on the begining of the Sayan Saga Vegeta destroy the planet Arlia with just one finger.... and then he cand destroy a meteorite. XD And master roshi with a ki of 200 destroys the moon... that doesnot make any sense...

how would training in heavier gravity make it harder to blow up objects wouldn't it be easier because when you got out of the gravity youd be faster not weaker

+TazyePlays My guess would be because he continued his training right after... in space. Training in 450* gravity at first, and then trying to blow up a meteorite led him into extreme exhaustion; making it harder for him to blow up the rock since he was already exhausted. It's like working out at the gym; destroying your muscles, and then trying to go some more. But if he hadn't trained in that amount of gravity and started his training in space, blowing up the meteorite would have been nothing.

I think we all know what the "distractions of the earth" were! 😁

he became pure of heart when he let it all go allowing him to pass the barrier he had placed in front of himself.

Not really he said it wasn't until he let go of all his desires, that he pushed himself over the edge. Vegeta lets his passions rule him too much. If he just let go, and let things be, he;d do a lot better. He keeps holding himself BACK because he wants too much to be more than others. He keeps seeing more powerful people and it stunts him with internal fear of them. When he stops worrying about others, he does better.

Vegeta is so poetic

Man, everyone hating on Dragonball Super, on Kale, Califlua and Cabba. They claim that they didn't work hard to become Super Saiyans. Anyone who watched DBZ would come to understand that just because you have the required power doesn't mean that you'll be able to ascend to the next level. Goku said it best, "Power is a response to a need, not a want." Vegeta wanted to be a Super Saiyan, but he didn't achieve it until he no longer wanted it. Gohan became a Super Saiyan because he needed the power to fight against Cell. The same goes for the Universe 6 Saiyans. In their world, they didn't go through the same strife and issues that Universe 7 Saiyans did, so there was no need to become a Super Saiyan. But just because there was no need in their universe before doesn't mean that there is no need now. Their universe was on the line, so when forged in the fires of combat, they ascended to their Super Saiyan-selves. Another issue is that people believe that SSJ is static. Like, if you are a Super Saiyan, then your power is equivalent to Goku and Vegeta back when they first obtained it. Wrong. SSJ is a 50x multipler, and it multiples your base power. So, if one individual has a base of 1 million, then it would become 50 million. If another individual has 5 million, then it would become 250 million. People assume that Cabba and the others are weak because they aren't around the God-tier levels that Goku and Vegeta are. They could easily be more powerful than Cell, or Kid Buu who has max powers in the billions and hundred billions respectively. So, if someone who has a base of 1 billion or more goes Super Saiyan, that's a huge jump in power. SSJ2 is 100x and SSJ3 is 500x. There is no asspull. Goku was heavily injured, and exhausted. He purposely held back to train both of them, and push them forward. This allowed them to excel much faster because Goku was teaching them.

wow i never thought of it that way, but you made excellent points, bravo, you made me go from hating the saiyans from universe 6, to wanting to see more of them. not often does someone change my mind with a single statement.

Man I loved this scene! Vegeta is a bad ass and they had the bad ass music to go with it
