I find it so weird that Valeri Nichushkin was bought out by the Stars, didn't score a single goal in their last season with them, and now he is a scoring threat every time he touches the ice.

Dallas was simply not a good fit for him. Ruff buried him on the 4th line and made him a healthy scratch, relegated him to AHL most of the nights.

Sportsnet cut off the part where it showed the ice pretty much submerged in hats and Nichushkin looking around with a big smirk, not surprised sportsnet doesn't want to actually highlight the big moment.

Should not have been allowed to play at all this season... Whatever happened to the woman he assaulted?

Not that surprising for Toronto or Winnipeg. Teams who have a good regular season for the first time in years need to learn hard lessons in the playoffs before they can make a run. I expect the Oilers to get the farthest. They've been through this a few times now.
