Ridiculous. They need to change penalty shot rules. Should be more about skill than waiting for the goalie to fall asleep. They could have run a commercial between the time he touched the puck and scored.

Ridiculous the way a player can take all the time in the world to skate in, scratch his ass, then take a shot on goal. I'd change that asap. Additionally, if any player "lacrosses" a puck into the net it should be disallowed....this is hockey, not freaking lacrosse

As long as the stick stays below the crossbar and the puck stays in forward motion both are fine valid ways to score a goal. You’re free to not like either strategy but that also makes you wrong
